Fan of: X-Men movies/Jean Grey/Phoenix/Famke Janssen (all rolled into one sweet unit), certain anime series including FLCL, Sailor Moon and Samurai X, and I'm still a little bit into the Lord of the Rings/Middle Earth universe. And I love Nightwish and Tarja Turunen. Oh, and I like watching House. But I probably wouldn't do any fanfiction about that. Nor about Nightwish or Tarja (I find it slightly disrespectful and a little weird to do fanfiction about real people... if you do fanfiction about real people, take no offense, it's just my preference not to).
I used to have another account on here. It still exists, but I haven't visited it for several years and when I tried to again I couldn't remember my login information at all! Waaah! But if you'd like to visit and read all my OOOOOLD fanfiction, the pen name is Kami No Neko. I do have a few decent one-shots there as well as some incompleted stories. CURRENT FANFICTION
Like Freedom In Spring: A Jean/Phoenix resurrection fic set a year after the end of X3 that I hope I can pull off through good writing and plotting. Jean awakes in the same place where she died, and she tries to find a way to get back to the mansion with few resources and another threat brewing, meanwhile struggling with her fear of her own power and trying to figure out some way to rid the world of Dark Phoenix for good. This is turning out to be a complex story, with lots of things happening for everyone at once, and I'm hoping for all the characters to be richly involved in this story. It also deals a lot with themes of hope and despair and how they really make the difference. Right now this is my primary endeavor, so I will not be uploading anything else until it's close to finished. I hope you enjoy this one!
Out of the Frying Pan: Yeah, technically this doesn't count... it's more of an excerpt from the above... but oh well, I decided to one-shot-ify it. Shortly after Jean arrives at Xavier's Institute for the first time, she finds herself sleepless and utterly spent by the psychic noise that constantly plagues her. Professor Xavier finds her sitting in her room and offers to help her.
