SLYTHERIN'S PROPHECY: i am working on chapter 11, about 14 pages are currently finished, but the chapter itself is no where near done yet. i have been taking a lot of notes for how i want things to get done in this fic, and that is taking up a lot of time.

FREEING THE SOUL: Chapter 6 has about 6 pages written, and i'm roughly at the halfway point. the fic's nearly done! two more chapters, maybe three, and it's done. slow progress.

THE DRAGON LORD: Chapter 4 has been started, and progress is being made! this fic also has some plot problems in the first part of chapter 4, but i figuring out how to fix it. i have very big plans for this. ON HOLD UNTIL I FINISH 'FREEING THE SOUL'. Also, this may be neat to some people, but my current avatar is a pic, drawn by me, of Shade/Harry; the tiny minute scars on his face are part of the original story i will eventually write.

BROTHERS IN ARMS: This is my FMA fanfiction, my first, and its a HP crossover... so far the feedback has been very good, but i'm still struggling in figuring out how to write the characters for FMA, since i've never written FMA fanfiction before... other than that, chapter 6 is posted and i have decided to keep ch.5 as is, and i will get started on ch 7 as soon as i can. i am writing from the anime, so now that i have my external hard drive back, i have made a good deal of progress. This has been brought to my attention, but the slash pairing is between Harry and Roy. The only reason that i have Ed as one of the characters the story is listed under is because Ed is the most important character to FMA, and i don't want to end up writing only about Harry and his exploits with Roy.

REMEMBER: i've had this idea rolling around in my head for a good several months now and i am looking forward to how it turns out. should be interesting to see where it goes, considering this will not be an epic sized fic (hopefully), like several of my other stories that i should finish and it will be the first majorly angsty fic that i have written. chapter 6 is posted, and chapter 7 is on its way as well.

P4: EVERSION: This is my latest fic, based on the awesome game of Persona 4, and because there are two categories it could be placed in, i chose to upload it into both. this is the first time a game has ever affected me enough to get me to actually write a fanfic for it. i'll proudly state that i'm a female gamer, and i have played many games, but this is the first time i've actually written about a game. i was even inpsired to draw because of P4; even FF VII hasn't done that for me. very good game, hope this fic will turn out nicely, too. chapter 7 has been posted, and i do have a plot outline written up as well, to the end of the fic, which should help.

i am so very sorry, i know that those of you who love my stories are waiting, but i need you all to wait more patiently. you're doing a wonderfull job and kudos to you all i love you all to bits for your patience! thank you oh so much! you can have a cookie!

One final thing: please don't send me reviews simply asking me to update, or when i will be able to update; its rather discouraging, although i do appreciate the effort. the one word reviews don't work so well.

update: 9/26/2009: Just in case anyone actually reads this, i am a 22 year old female, working in retail, and in college full time, so time is usually limited. i have been writing fanfiction since high school, and will probably continue to do so for a while yet. but i am a procrastinator at heart, and my muse is fickle at best. a lot of time recently has been spent on my art, trying to finish several pieces that have remained incomplete for several months or more. i have been trying to spend at least a few hours a week on my fiction, but writing is not my first priority, especially when i own a crappy laptop tat likes to crash for no reason. i will update when i want to, and usually, my fiction tends to be somewhat improved between updating periods, so its usually worth the wait, maybe. updates may be few and far between, but i am always working on something, and i'll post things when they're ready to posted and not before.

I need some help with something. Years ago, when i first started reading HP fanfiction (at most, a year before i joined ff.net), i found this fic hidden away somewhere, but for the life of me, i cannot remember anything about the name of the damn thing, or the author... nothing. This was way back when under the parameters of, a) Characters: Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy, b) Genre: Romance (and/or drama, not sure), c) Length: 20,000 words or more, and at the time i came across it the first time, there was only about 20-25 pages to filter through.

My point is, if i used the same parameters NOW, i would have... i don't know... 60 or so pages of fics to filter through.

The only thing i have going for me is that in the first chapter there was a poem, well, a prophecy, but it was a damn good one, and i find that the authors who can pull off writing poetic prophecies have damn good stories, and i kinda just wanna read the story was good or not. at the time i had found it the first time, i didn't have enough time to finish reading what was there.

I don't have the full prophecy, since i don't remember it all, but i will share what i have in hopes that SOMEONE recognizes it, and tells me what happened to the story it came from. Also, this prophecy was what inspired me to write the first i ever published Slytherin's Prophecy.

Here goes:

In all the worlds that have ever stood,
In all the halls of stone and wood;
There reigned two Powers of great Eminence
From the barren plains to the woods of dense.
One born of a Noble birth, given riches grand and riches old,
The Other born with a Mark, and a past never fully told.
(A couple of lines i don't remember, but implies rivals struggling, but becoming allies, rebelling against some kind of authority, maybe something about swords, too)
Should this warning go unheeded,
And no answer to its call,
Then the worlds of Present, Past, and Future,
Shall annihilate and Fall.
