Hello to all... I'm the Lady Shinigami, also known as Rhaenys on DeviantART.com, and i write Harry Potter fanfiction, mostly for the sole enjoyment of writing. i DO NOT update on a regualar basis, because i write everything out on paper first, just in case i lose something, or i forget what i wrote... things like that.
A little about me, if you will... i am an artist in general, i write, i draw, i paint... everything on a 2-dimensional surface. i love anime, and i love to draw it, and i have an obsession with sharp, pointy objects, which is why i have a 3-piece samurai set on my bookcase...
i love fantasy and horror novels, throwing in the odd classic, and i prefer my reading to the company of most people my age... a lot of people my age are morons... i also play video games; yes, i am somewhat of a gamer...

PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT I AM HAVING SEVERE DEVELOPEMENT PROBLEMS WITH ALL OF MY FICS IN PROGRESS! I AM NOT ABANDONING MY STORIES AT ALL, I JUST NEED A BREAK TO FIGURE OUT WHAT I WANT TO DO AND WHAT I WANT TO HAPPEN AND HOW I'M GOING TO GET IT DONE! I APOLOGIZE FOR MY LACK IN UPDATING, ESPECIALLY FOR SOME OF MY OLDER FICS, BUT THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT RIGHT NOW. I AM TRYING TO FIX MY PROBLEMS!!

i will be tring to work on my fiction more often, as i am now in a creative rut with my art, so maybe i'll actually post something soon... who knows?
when i get stuck on my current stories, i end up thinking of new stories (which hasn't happened recently), which i start writing out, but because of this, i have about about twenty different stories, and a lot of them i don't plan out more than just a general idea. it's the little details, the good details, that are getting me so behind in my work, and for that, i must apologize.
SLYTHERIN'S PROPHECY: i am working on chapter 11, and i have made progress, but it's no where near done, of course, and it will take time. i am looking forward to my plans for this fic, though, so i will be working on it much more frequently. I AM SLOWLY WORKING ON THIS ONE A FEW SENTENCES/PARAGRAPHS AT A TIME!! NOT ABANDONED!
FREEING THE SOUL: Chapter 5 is finished and posted! i have rewritten the first chapter, which i should have done a looong time ago, and i have started on the 6th chapter, with several pages written. the fic's nearly done! two more chapters, maybe three, and it's done. slow progress.
I AM MY FATHER'S SON: i am having minor plot problems with chapter 5, and i'm finding that as soon as i get around to fix one plot problem, another one occurs, but i do have 20+ pages typed out, so hopefully, it shouldn't take too long. thank you all for waiting. ON HOLD!
SLYTHERIN TRINITY: i am rewriting this story, and i am making excellent progress, so wish me luck! version 2 is already so much better, and i hope that i can just finish it. I AM MAKING PROGRESS SLOWLY BUT SURELY, AGAIN, ONLY A FEW SENTENCES AT A TIME. I WAS ABLE TO COME BACK TO THAT STORY AND WILL BE WRITING MORE.
UNEXPECTED FAMILY: i am rewriting this one, and i feel that it will be vastly better than the current version, with an actual plot. on temporary hold until i can fix some plot problems... ON HOLD.
NEVER A NORMAL LIFE: i'm majorly stuck on this one, but i think i have a plan for this one. it is just temporarily on hold. it is slowly getting done, so wait patiently. ON HOLD.
THE DRAGON LORD: Chapter 4 has been started, and progress is being made! i have a lot of pictures drawn for this fic, for events that haven't happened yet, but if anyone's interested, go to http://rhaenys.deviantart.com/ . this fic also has some plot problems in the first part of chapter 4, but i figuring out how to fix it. i have very big plans for this. also, in deviantART, i have manipulated the characters into being original characters, with Harry being known as Shade, and Tom being known as Arryn. ON HOLD UNTIL I FINISH 'FREEING THE SOUL'.
ANGEL: This fic is indefinitely on hold for the time being. i have no idea where this fic is going, and i probably won't know until i finish some of my other fics, like Freeing the Soul and Dragon Lord. eventually, this fic will be revised, as well. ON HOLD!
BROTHERS IN ARMS: This is my FMA fanfiction, my first, and its a HP crossover... so far the feedback has been very good, but i'll anyone know that i am kinda scared of straying too far from the cannon, and i'm not sure how to write the characters for FMA, since i've never written FMA fanfiction before... other than that, chapter 6 is being written out slowly, as i am not really satisfied with how ch 5 turned out. depending on how the reviews go, i may or may not change it.
REMEMBER: Yes, another new fic. i've had this idea rolling around in my head for a good several months now and i am looking forward to how it turns out. should be interesting to see where it goes, considering this will not be an epic sized fic (hopefully), like several of my other stories that i should finish and it will be the first majorly angsty fic that i have written. chapter 6 is posted, and chapter 7 is on its way as well.
i am so very sorry, i know that those of you who love my stories are waiting, but i need you all to wait more patiently. you're doing a wonderfull job and kudos to you all i love you all to bits for your patience! thank you oh so much! you can have a cookie!
