Tumblr: http://chrysanthemums-and-daffodils.tumblr.com/ I can honestly say reading fanfiction is a hobby of mine. Unfortunately, I lack talent in writing skills and creativity to actually write my own. My ultimate fandom is NCIS and my OTP: Tony D. and Ziva D. The progression of the father-daughter relationship between Gibbs and Ziva is my favorite on the show. For other non-romantic pairings, I love pretty much all the other relationships on NCIS (Tony-Gibbs, Abby-Gibbs, McGee-Gibbs, Fornell-Gibbs, Tony-McGee, Ziva-McGee, Abby-Ziva, Ducky-Gibbs, Ducky-Palmer, etc.) I'm also the odd one out that doesn't sail the Gibbs-Jenny ship for some reason. Unfortunately, I firmly think that Gibb's soul mate and true love is Shannon (which makes me kinda sad, and I tend to bawl at their scenes). "You were my Shannon, Gibbs" is one of my favorite lines ever on the show. 9x07 Devil's Triangle My favorite character is Ziva David. She is a character that fascinates me, even if she has transformed and changed so much throughout the years. There is a quality in her mystery that is profound and lonely and ripe, yet also raw. She is a character that is very rich and full, with vivid colors and so many stories to tell. Cote de Pablo plays her beautifully, bringing a sense of tradition to the character while carrying the exoticness of Ziva as well. Ziva: “Look, I know what she’s going through. Sometimes you need to find something or someone to focus your anger on. It’s your only relief.” You tell yourself, you must shut down. You tell yourself to never show any emotion, to anybody. I know what that's like. It's the only way you can survive. - Ziva David - NCIS 8x13 You never get over. You only get through. - Ziva David - NCIS 10x08 “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing” - Edmund Burke Sorry, but I don't read anything slash. I have nothing against homosexuals - I have friends that are gay - but it just doesn't interest me and is definitely not my thing, just like some heterosexual ships don't interest me. The only ones I may read would be those whose characters are actually portrayed as gay on their show. | |||||||
