Books are consistent, which is more than we can say for most human beings. Books are there for the happy times, and the sad times, there to comfort you, and to share the fun times. Books have personalities, whether they may be funny, romantic, factual or anything else. Books are the best friend you could wishfor, and there are millions of them, all there for you.
