I have always been a strong supporter of sidekicks, in other words, the "underrated bestfriends", normally part of a trio with the main character being a female. However, it also depends on the level of chemistry that the sidekicks possess together, cos' some sidekicks really doesn't have an ounce of chemistry when they're together. Luckily, the following sidekicks below does.

Ron & Hermione Harry Potter Fandom - The one true pairing that got canonized! And married with babies. Three of them.

Lilly & Oliver Hannah Montana Fandom - I've always been a great fan of the chemistry between Lilly and Oliver. I just don't and won't see Miley with Oliver. I don't think Oliver is even up to Miley's standard of guys, and he's really out of her league to be honest. If you've seen Miley's slew of romantic interests, you'll know what I mean.

Miranda & Gordo Lizzie McGuire Fandom - The path less travelled. I find that Miranda and Gordo seriously have better interaction and greater compatibility than Lizzie and Gordo. Plus, I always prefer sidekicks. :)

Freddie & Sam iCarly Fandom - This is the newest addition to the sidekicks family. A rivalry love/hate relationship between Carly's two best buds. I love their bickering and sniping. Makes extremely entertaining watch. I hope maybe in the future something might develop. As they grow older, i'll bet they'll have electric sexual tension.

Cassie & Gus Ultimate Book of Spells Fandom - This is the first animation/cartoon series which strongly resembles the Harry Potter fandom, but in cartoon form. I like the two sidekicks, Gus and Cassie who is also constantly bickering and biting off each other's head.

Max & Alec Dark Angel Fandom - This one is not part of the sidekick family, but more towards a love/hate relationship which I also adore. Have I mentioned how much i love couples with acerbic tongues?? I absolutely love sarcasm. Plus, Max and Alec (Jensen Ackles and Jessica Alba) makes one sizzling jalapeno couple!

CROSSOVERS.

Lilly Truscott & Newt Livingston Hannah Montana/Cory in the House Fandom - This is in an alternate universe where Newt is actually NOT dumb (Imagine Jason Dolley or Connor from Read it and Weep). He's really a wise guy with a caustic tongue, similar to Lilly. I just find this couple really compatible, mainly because I see them as the actors playing them, Emily Osment and Jason Dolley, two adorable blondes.

NEWEST ADDICTIONS : The Avatar Series - Legend of Aang

Firstly, my favorite characters from this series is as follows, and in order of preference: TOPH, Zuko, The Duke, Aang, Katara, Sokka, Suki, General Iroh. So now, on to the ships. I'm a universal shipper. I love almost all ships, but at different levels.

Toph & Aang (Taang) - I'm first a foremost a HUGE TAanger fan. Even if it's not canonized, nothing can dissuade me from liking these two together. Perfect in every part of the way. Their similar yet opposites. Air and Earth. Twelve year olds. Still kids. They have the best kind of conversations when they're together. Plus, only Toph can manage to make AAng tick.

Toph & Zuko (Toko/Siblingy) - I'm also a major TOKO siblingy fan. Seriously, I think Toph and Zuko would make the sweetest siblings ever. Forget Azula. I think Toph would be taken care of by Zuko, and she needs an older brother like him. And if you noticed, Zuko is also extremely kind with Toph.

Toph & Sokka (Tokka / Siblingly) - Tokka is cute cos' Sokka really treats Toph as his younger sister. We know about Toph's one sided crush on Sokka, but we all know that Sokka's heart is solely for Suki. And i respect that. And i think Toph knows it too. So, there's no harm in having crushes, but eventually, all that Sokka sees in Toph is another one of his younger sister, part of the family to be taken care of. I find their interactions extremely sweet, and you can see how Overprotective Sokka is at times with Toph.

Zuko & Katara (Zutara) - I'm also a Zutara addict. Converted hugely after watching the Zutara Evidence for the Intellectual Dummy. And now a hard core Zutara fan. Even canonization can't change my mind towards Zutara. They're kinda like Taang. Opposites, yet similar. Water and Fire. And they look HOT together. Zuko brings in the Hotness. Katara cools it down. What could be better?

Aang & Katara (Kataang/Motherly/Sisterly) - I also enjoy the interactions between Katara and Aang, cos' she treats him and takes care of him just like a mother would to her child. Whenever they kiss, i only can imagine a mother kissing her son. Plus, the age difference, not to mention the extreme height difference really obstructs any romantic implications between these two.

SSAM: (some stuff about me)

I find slash & fem/slash icky. Somehow, people of the same sex getting together just rubs me the wrong way. (Get your head out of the gutter.) Even if they're both hot looking dudes/dudettes, I just prefer the "natural" way of relationship formation. Male&Female. If you like slash, power to you for having an open mind. I just can't picture two people of the same sex being intimate with each other. Gives me the jitters at night.

Incest is alright (in fandom/characters/fake people), as long as the two people look and feel compatible despite being blood related. Though I would shudder if it happened in my family. That would be really then be considered incestuous.

RTIMH: (random thoughts in my head)

I'm baffled at the sudden influx of Liley (Miley/Lilly) fics on Fanfiction.net. Honestly. What spurred the sudden surge for femslashiness? Was it the part where Lilly and Miley were hugging too tightly? Or when they were sitting on each other at the end of the episode of Don't Stop Till You get the phone? I just don't get it. Maybe my mind hasn't reached that level of twistedness yet. I've only reached to the part of finding incest tolerable.
