My names Alaina and I've just started coming into my own as a writer. I'm 18 and at a university so I won't be able to update as much as I would like.

Things to know:
1) A serious pet-peeve I have is when people have song lyrics in their songs. I can understand having a song in a one-shot but why does a character, who has never sung a song before, all of a sudden sing a song and cry... seriously. I totally understand the author being like, "If you listen to this song, it will describe the scene perfectly!" but anything else just makes me cringe.

2) Stories that lack basic grammar and spelling, kill the writer inside me. I know I'm a terrible speller and none of the work on this site is getting published, but people lets capitalize are 'i's, shall we and spell out 'you'. Microsoft normally checks for that stuff, all you have to do is click and accept the change.

3) My muse comes and goes for weeks or months at a time. This doesn't mean I'm abandonning my stories! Sometime I just have to walk away and let myself get inspired. I'll make a point to post my muse of the moment. Normally if my muse is a TV show then I'm hooked till the season finally or a break in the show. If it's a movie all I have to do to get back my muse is watch the movie over again. Books are a little harder but I'll get there.
