Author has written 2 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh. Hey, my fellow fan-ficcers :) I havent been to the site in a while. Anyways, I would rewrite this thing you see below (cue inevidable page-scrolling) but as I don't like getting rid of any of my work regardless how or (or sometimes bad), it stays. www.kaidreil.deviantart.com um. As you walk past all the different doors you got from the Search Engine, you happen to notice one room that seems to stand out from all the rest. Nothing that you could put your finger on and say 'that's what's different!', but you know this one isn't normal. Now, you're familiar with people's Bio rooms. You've seen many in your day as a reader or author yourself. Most look the same. A square room with white walls usually covered in posters about the person, decorations around to represent themselves. Etcetera, etcetera... When you enter, the first thing you notice is that the exit door disappears from behind you and a black gateway takes its place. "No, this can't be right..." you hear yourself say. After you turn around slowly to face the rest of the room, you discover that, why, this isn't a room at all! Peering closer through the light mist shrouding your vision, you can just make out a sign hanging from something or other that reads: "Tempest Wind Hollow this way". You shrug and decide to follow it. What harm could it cause to you, anyway? "It's just a Bio..." you say. As you walk through the fog, you happen to notice two lights bouncing towards you. The first one is in front of you now. "Meep! Meep!" It looks kind of like a glowing ball of bluish light, except with transparent faerie wings, four on each's back. It seems to be nudging you to follow them both down the path you saw earlier. You blink and shrug again. Apparently it was shadowed because of all the trees looming overhead. The pair jump down the path, every so often looking back to see if you're still keeping up. You smile. "Well, it's different, I can say that." Once you get to the end of the earthen path, you notice a small clearing. Running the rest of the way, you finally reach the grove and see several things. Looking to your right are drawings by what you assume the author drew. The first one is of a girl with spiky white hair tipped in black held back with a studded seashell. What stands out the most, however, were her wings. Huge, white and black wings. Another picture is of the same girl, but with two other people, a young-looking centaur colt and another girl with only one eye holding a staff. The boy was holding up a sword with a pair of black and white wings for the hilt. You look at the others, though skimming by, not paying much attention. A lot of them had wings. To your left hung pictures painted by her. Two girls laughing about something in the latest Gravitation manga, a redhead hanging off her younger brother, the pictures went on forever... But to the centre, that was what really caught your eye. Your companion lights left to watch for others, and left you alone. Walking forwards, you notice Yu-Gi-Oh! cards hovering around in a circle. You estimate about forty-four, enough for a standard deck. Looking closer, you notice that most happen to be light. Moving on, you see another collection of cards, though these where Magic: the gathering. A lot of blue and white cards, a couple angels, nothing much. The YGO cards were more impressive. Passing both by, you come to a statue of a lilliend. It kind of looks like the upper body of an elf with blue and red feathers in place of hair, bright, tropical wings and her lower body was replaced with that of a snake. Under read a plaque: Kaidriel. You blink. A hologram pops up in front of it and starts to go into detail about the character. You decide to skim over most of it, but learn that it's a Dungeons&Dragons character, epic level (above level 20), bard and ranger as its classes. Beside that was a small, black table that you have to kneel in front of to use properly, with a massive book lying on top titled: The Life of _ etched in gold lettering. The space for the name still wasn't filled in yet. Opening it up, you flip to a page with jot notes everywhere. "Finish stupid homework... Write rest of chapter by weekend... Draw profile of Kyokae..." you read. Looking over some other pages, you see that this person apparently likes any forms of anime and manga, especially some called Gravitation, .hack, and Yu-Gi-Oh!. You flip to another page. "Favourite things," it was titled. "animal: white Bengal tiger" "bands: Linkin Park, Evanescence, T.A.T.U., Delerium, Do As Infinity (D.A.I.)..." You laugh. That list is the longest by far. It goes on to tell you that the owner also has an interest in techno music, Jpop and Jrock alike. Things like that. "Future profession: manga-ka" The page opposite of it had random clippits of either her life or just tiny facts. "Zodiac sign: cancer/gemini (on the cusp of both)" "Nationality: Canadian (eh!!)" "(annoying) Yami: Ereoleanne (pron. Air-a-o-lee-en) >. ice_djinni@hotmail.com, Go-Gaia --> Ice Djinni Kaidreil. It had somewhat of an endnote hanging around near the bottom of the page. "Feel free to send me e-mails or if ya just wanna talk! ;D" and "please check out my favourites list. All the authors are very talented and should not be ignored. Well worth it." At the very back you notice a trail leading towards a veil and something behind it. The general aura of this particular part seems to creep you out. Shivering slightly, you decide that this part would probably be better off left alone for another day. Turning your back on the bio, you're warped to the bottom of the page where her stories are listed. | |||||||||
