Author has written 11 stories for Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, and Lord of the Rings. Well, as you can probably tell from my fanfiction, I love musicals - especially the ones based on eighteenth-century novels. Some of my favorites include Les Miserables, the Scarlet Pimpernel, Jekyll and Hyde, the Phantom of the Opera, Into the Woods . . . the list goes on. While they all hold an equal place in my heart, as I am a shameless review grubber, most of my fanfiction takes place in the independent realms of Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera. I adore almost all of the characters more than I can say, and they'll forgive me for involving them in some very warped fanfiction . . . I hope. Some disclaimers for die-hard fans: Les Miserables - I apologize to any Marius fans in advance, but the boy is never going to appear in any of my fanfiction unless he's getting thrown in the Seine. That's how much he irritates me. I am also a firm believer in the innate comedy of Les Amis, so if a serious story about them ever appears in this space, it should automatically be assumed that either an evil imposter has kidnapped me and taken my place, or I followed in Grantaire's footsteps the night before. Phantom of the Opera - Although I have much affection for all the leads, the real story is obviously all about Meg and the managers. And Count Philippe, who is distinctly underrated and needs more publicity. As a result, I firmly intend to stay out of the Erik-Raoul wars which have been raging throughout the fandom, and any statements which may be taken in support of one side or another should be taken with tongue firmly in cheek. | |||||||
