Author has written 18 stories for Professionals, and X-Files. JAN 2013. I re-discovered this site exactly a year ago having come across it over ten years ago when I was deeply into the 'X Files'. At the time I was getting to grips with having a computer (and still am!) and it would never have occurred to me to submit anything I'd written even if I'd known how to. And then last year I wondered if this site still existed at the same time as I was re-discovering 'The Professionals' on T.V. having watched it back in the 70's and early 80's. Little did I know then that all these years later I would be writing stories for them! No one knows I write, I don't think they'd understand why I don't write using my own characters. Perhaps I will one day but for now I am happy to borrow someone else's and keep my scribblings a secret. That said, after a year, I feel I will soon run out of ideas for Bodie and Doyle that haven't already been done before. I do however love reading other writers submissions (though I don't read or write 'slash') and find it fascinating to see how others view the characters. Many thanks to all those that have read my stories and responded with reviews good or bad.These all help to shape my writing and are my only feedback to let me know where I am going wrong-- or occasionally right! | |||||||
