Rodolphus Lestrange ( Please note that my sister and I had nothing to do with the creation of this picture. Credit goes to Madcarrot, one of the best Harry Potter artists out there, in my humble opinion. My Rodolphus was inspired by hers, not the other way around. Carrot was nice enough to let me borrow his character design, so the one in my stories looks exactly as you see her portray him, but his personality is my own interpretation. Greetings all and welcome to the bio of Shady-777! Pull up a comfy chair, grab your favorite beverage, and relax while I endeavor to give you the information you seek.

A Little Bit About Me:
I'm a full-time college student possessing an AA degree. My major is Science, but writing is where my real passion lies. I live in a less-than-praiseworthy house with my parents and two younger siblings, and I hate this arrangement beyond the telling of it. The family and I have 6 pets: two 3-year-old cats, an 11-month-old purebred German Shepherd puppy, two birds ( budgerigars ), and a fish ( male beta ). I prefer indoors to outdoors, and, with the exception of my daily walk, I am rarely seen out in the daytime.
I have been a member of Fanfiction Dot Net for over 5 years now, and in that time I've seen the best and worst of the site. Not all the changes made were for the better. Not all the writers here are polite ( ie; Peanutbuttersunshine, who existed purely to flame others in the worst ways imaginable ). Not all the stories have ever seen a beta or spell-check. However, there are some amazing writers out there and wonderful fanfictions, and in spite of its shortcomings this is my favorite website.
A Little Bit About My Writing Style:
Just like any other Fanficcer, I love inventing stories surrounding my favorite characters in certain fandoms. Wheras some authors are content with merely describing the action, I'm more concerned with describing the emotions and reasoning behind the actions. I strive very hard to make my characters 3-dimensional and believable. I steer away from clichés as much as possible and focus on the psychological as well as the physical. Logic IS something that concerns me, so if you see anything in any of my stories that maybe doesn't make much sense, let me know and I will either fix it if there is a problem or explain my reasoning if I don't see one.
I will admit that I tend to give some of the characters more power than they have in cannon: sometimes just a bit more, sometimes a lot more. I do this for 2 reasons: A) I seem to have more fun writing stronger characters, and B) this allows me to delve into the whole "power corrupts" concept and test their morality. I like to explore the bad sides of good characters and the good sides of bad characters. While I can see where the heightened power I give them can make these characters appear a little Mary Sueish or Gary Stuish on the surface, none of them are invincible, all of them have their faults, not everyone loves them, and they don't always make the right choices or save the day. In other words, you might read about Future Lord Voldemort who is 3 times more powerful than he is in cannon, or AU Luke Skywalker who has a midi-chlorian count of 90,000, but you'll never read about Aurora-Dawn Lefay, the half elf half silver unicorn who is more beautiful than words could ever describe, loved by all the main characters, and can do absolutely EVERYTHING you can imagine, and even some things you can't. Generally, when I up someone's power, I also up the challenges they must face in order to keep them on their toes.
When You Review My Fics: By all means feel free to say anything on your mind! Anything! I love getting both praise and constructive criticism, and hey, a flame is a review! This isn't to say that I will take your flame seriously, but I will definitely appreciate the fact that my story stirred enough emotion in you to merit a review. You're welcome to your own opinions and I won't try to 'get back' at you if you if you say something I don't like by flaming your fics and/or sending you a nasty email, because I'm more mature than that. Pretty much anything goes. If you're reading a chapter and something in it reminds you of the time you and your cousin Joey were playing cards or whatever, tell me! I love hearing readers' stories. Want to send me virtual cookies and/or candy? Go for it! AND if you have any suggestions for confrontations/events/ships/whatnot, please share!

Fighting With Dragons ( Complete )
A companion story to "A Riddle In Time" detailing Draco's feelings on his daughter's impending marriage to freshly-ensouled Lord Voldemort, and Bellatrix's last few hours of life. Takes place 15 years before the opening events of "A Riddle In Time".
Dedicated to my adoring ARIT fans ( Erik's Leading Lady, Meirelle, Dmitchell, King Harrison, Synch 14 ). You guys ROCK:)
A Riddle In Time ( 1st priority )
Cain Riddle, an aspiring Death Eater, is the son of Tom Riddle and the grandson of Draco Malfoy. He lives in a future where the rules are made by a handful of extremely powerful witches and warlocks, and visits by gods are slightly more common. But when he is accidentally sent back in time to Harry's 6th year, everything changes. Literally. Before he even realizes what's going on, he gets stirred up in the drama on the astronomy tower and creates a very different outcome, re-writing history. In the chaos of trying to get things back on track, he makes a few new friends and a few startling discoveries about himself and the people he thought he knew. Do good and evil really exist, or are there only different points of view?
Twisted Realities ( 3rd priority)
A time-travel/AU hybrid. Episode II Anakin is pulled out of his time by something or someone and thrown into the future where he meets Luke. Together they are called on a mission to save the universe ( and Luke's friends ) from peril, and in doing so they end up traveling to an alternate universe where their doppelgangers are powerful Sith Lords. Despite what one reviewer has said, there are no Mary Sues in this story.
The Heart Of A Sith ( 2nd priority )
A short side-ficlet with a humorus tone that compliments Twisted Realities. It follows Darth Vulcanus's ( dark Luke Skywalker's ) foray into the Episode III universe at the time Darth Vader is attacking the Jedi Temple...and younglings! But this isn't Vulcanus's universe, so what does he care if he screws it up a little? Only one chapter left to go before this is finished. Awaiting inspiration.
The Curse of Veronica ( 4th priority )
A long, make that very, very long fic, third in a trilogy. I feel this is one of my best works, but I haven't been in the mood to write it in over a year. I may not continue this one after all. Don't hold your breath.
