Who.I.Was.
Many of you know me as a Final Fantasy X/Kingdom Hearts fanatic and writer of such fics. Some of you even might remember by terrible days as lizziepadmegrl - pumping out garish, horrid, and trashy Lizzie McGuire fics. But, I've matured. My writing has greatly improved. The only remnants of my past life are my Ember fic (currently being redone - maybe), "The Wind Alchemist" (again, being redone, hopefully), and my beloved FFX Poem. They're OLD. Don't read them unless you wish to traumatize yourself. Seriously. They suck.
Who.I.Am
But I have not died. After devoring every Westerfeldian novel I could get my hands on, (This includes but is not limited to: Uglies, Pretties, Specials, The Secret Hour, Touching Darkness, Blue Noon, Peeps, So Yesterday, and The Last Days) I decided to write a fic about my two most very favorite characters out of all these books.
Rex and Melissa.
They're relationship is teeming with fear, intimatacy, and love. Midnighterswas perfect, except for one thing. Not enough Rex/Melissa couple development. In my opinion, anyway. So, I decided to write about it. My fic, "Unpredictable Overindulgent Selectiveness" is a take on life after Blue Noon. It's a much more dark and mature look into Rex and Melissa's relationship, and a muse on what would happen if Rex finally succumbed to the darkling inside.
My newest fic, "Unpredictable Overindulgent Reappearances" is set four years after Blue Noon. It's a deeper look into the relationships Scott Westerfeld alrady established, as well as some new characters who are vying for attention.
I am still perfecting my own book, The Quixotic Realm, as well as writing a professional biography/introduction to a book of art. so time for fics are short. However, I have started an ongoing Midnighters story, check it out if you please.
