April 2012: I'm pretty much just a lurker these days, and I must admit that despite my best intentions, my WIPs are likely to remain just that unless someone volunteers to pick one of them up. If anyone's interested, get in touch! I can tell you where I was thinking of going with them, or you can take them in whatever direction you like.
June 29, 2006: Well, I didn't win the awards, but hey, it was so so so cool to be nominated - and to get some votes! Thank you!!
February 27, 2006: Two of my short pieces have been nominated for the 2006 Numb3rs Awards! Math 110A has been nominated in the category Gen - Humor/Fluff, and A New Beginning, along with Blackwingedbird's A New Frontier, has been nominated in the category Gen - Series. You can see the complete list of nominations - and vote! at
July 13, 2005: I've decided to try to gather all of my fanfictions, past and present, into one place (here), so today I'm uploading all my old fanfictions for the Pretender, beginning with my first fanfiction ever in 1996 or 1997. Rereading them, I'm laughing at myself for how cheesy I was - okay, still am. But I had a ball writing them. Feel free to laugh at me with them. It's fun to reread old stuff and see how you've progressed (or not) as a writer.

April 27/05 I took the lyrics to Michael W. Smith's "On the Other Side" out of "Crisis of Faith" to comply with Fanfiction.net's directive not to put other people's song lyrics in stories. However, these lyrics inspired this story in a big way, and I highly recommend you listen to the song if you can. See them in the context of my story where it is posted at. Or view the lyrics alone at but beware the many many horrible popup ads.
