Hello all! I'm a bit of a Grammar Nazi. Okay, well, maybe more than a bit. What can I say? I am the grammarian about whom your mother warned you. Yeah. I'll just say that. I can be rather sarcastic and somewhat snappish at times. And argumentative. Is that even a word? Gotta go. I'll finish this crazed soliloquy later!

many months later* I'm back to finish it! I do write a lot, but I don't publish it. I don't like people reading what I write. Probably because what I write always ends up buried somewhere. Or maybe because I have a hard time following an idea through before I get another, better idea... Oh well. Maybe someday I'll get around to it. And I think that's about all you need to know... We'll see as time progresses...

the next day* Okay. I've been writing like crazy. Shoot me. Now that I've got a reason to write, the ideas don't stop. Maybe that's a good thing...

Books: Star Wars, Ranger's Apprentice, Sherlock Holmes, and several other random books

Movies: Avengers, Thor, Alien (all)

T.V.: Sherlock, Doctor Who, Bones, Lie to Me, Monk

Hobbies: reading, writing, drawing, all that fun stuff.

Although you may not be able to tell, I'm an introvert. I'm chatty and crazy in the written word, but you would never connect this me with the real me. All the crazy thoughts that flow from my computer remain firmly locked inside my head.

I will call you dude regardless of your gender if you PM me. If that bothers you, tell me.

Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. Neil Gaiman

A bore is someone who takes away my solitude and doesn’t give me companionship in return. Thoreau

Writing is an antidote for loneliness. Steven Berkoff

You say that love is nonsense. I tell you it is no such thing. For weeks and months it is a steady physical pain, an ache about the heart, never leaving one, by night or by day; a long strain on one's nerves like toothache or rheumatism, not intolerable at any one instant, but exhausting by its steady drain on the strength. Henry Brooks Adams

Anger simply shows that something in you is hurt, some wound is there. Osho

The angry people are those people who are most afraid. Dr. Robert Anthony

There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed. Ernest Hemingway

Writing is a form of therapy; sometimes I wonder how all those who do not write, compose or paint can manage to escape the madness, melancholia, the panic and fear which is inherent in a human situation. Graham Greene

Language... has created the word "loneliness" to express the pain of being alone. And it has created the word "solitude" to express the glory of being alone. Paul Tillich

“Who hears music, feels his solitude peopled at once." Robert Browning
