Author has written 2 stories for Hunger Games.

So, rather than just bragging on here (WTF am i supposed to write?) I've decided to put up a quiz at the end of whatever rambling i choose to put up. Admittedly, it's very sexist, but yeah. It's one of those "Are You More Like a Girl or a Guy?" things, which ask you questions based on the steryotypical image of boys and girls. You're supposed to just say "Yes" or "No", but where's the fun in that?

But first, my rambling:

Hey. I'm JellyKid. My username comes from a Bravest Warriors episode, which is an awesome YouTube series created by Pendleton Ward, who also created Adventure Time. Speaking of which, it's my favorite cartoon show. I've collected so many conspiracy theories i could probably lecture about the Great Mushroom War and Ooo's history. I guess Aaa's would be about the same... Gotta love gender swapping! My favorite character? No idea. Depends in my mood. It's fun to ty and write about Marshall's past, though.
Other shows i love (All cartoons. I don't write fanfics about anime, not sure why. Just never comes out right.) are:

Invader Zim- Love the animation and the goofiness. And, of course, Gir is pretty cool. (I luv waffles! Also tacos. ) But fans have to keep in mind that he isn't the only character in the show. Come on, guys. Dib has to be my favorite, although it's frustrating to constantly watch him fail at revealing Zim's alien-ness.

Regular Show- Yeayuh, yeah, yea, yayuh. How are we supposed to spell Mordo and Rig's trademark yelling-noise-thing? My brother has a shirt i steal from time to time, and it has the official spelling, but i'm too lazy to find itright now.(Who else watches Regular Show? My mom! Hmm, hmm hmm hmm.)

The Amazing World of Gumball- Admittedly, i don't follow this one with the strange devotion i do AT, RegShow, or the Bravest Warriors, but it's funnier in its own way. By which i mean it has more fart jokes and stuff like that. Hehehe.

Ed, Edd and Eddy- Now that i'm older and have been informed of this pairing, i ship KevEdd so hard. Gahhhh. What little fan art there is of them is adorable. Also, Marie Kanker has cool fan art. Check it. The cartoon style is cool, too, and this show was my childhood.

There are more shows, but i'm saving my energy for the sexist quiz. But first, a note:

I write all the time, mostly inserting OCs into shows/movies/books. Sometimes they're the same OC, customized for whatever universe they're in, and sometimes i only use an OC once. In any case, i try not to upload stories until i know they're going somewhere, or else i'll have disappointed people on my hands. (In other words, i don't post much. Or at all.) Sometimes i start stories just because i need to get a fandom "out of my system" (But, who am i kidding, they're never really gone.) I work on a bunch of stories at once, too. Right now there's a few with the same OC (Her name is Shadow.) in a few worlds that i had to write about or go crazy. Fangirling is very tiring. In the works are:

An actual Twilight story. Not even joking, i read the books and hated them. And yet i saw Jacob Black as having potential, but didn't really want to write him in an AU. So he finds Shadow, and the two try and figure out her complicated backstory. This takes place in the last book, so she helps to protect Bella, because... Well, no spoilers for you guys, but it's okay.(Gah. Twilight. Vampires don't sparkle, Stephanie Meyer. Nor do they fall in love with emotionless robots that are Kristin Stewart. Gahhh please burn these books if you find them.)

Two Adventure Time fics. One has Shadow, a legendary creature created by the Cosmic Owl meant to protect the land of Aaa. She lives in the universe where Fionna and Cake exist, not Finn and Jake. This one just felt like it had to be the genderswapped universe. The second one has an OC who isn't Shadow, but rather is a mutant vampire named Melrose who survived the Mushroom War and raised Marshall Lee after he was abandoned by Simone. Roughly a thousand years later, she is required by law to attend the Vampire King's betrothal ball... But she hates the king, and has no idea he's the grown up Marshall until she meets him in person. She also holds with her a secret, which causes bitterness, angst and other fun stuff.

There are two Maximum Ride fanfics that are different and the same at the same time. This was my first fic involving Shadow, which i started almost two years ago and forgot about for a long time. They both involve Shadow, who is an avian experiment, and she's basically a very expensive mistake a whitecoat made somewhere along the line. This one is the longest i have. Maybe i'll post the beginning of the original, which is about forty pages. They're the same because one focuses on Shadow's life at the School, while the other starts out with her on the doorstep of our favorite freaks.

My Pitch Perfect fanfic is technically about Shadow, but she goes by the name of Nicki, since otherwise the name would be a little ridiculous. She has a twin brother, Nick, who is sorta-almost-kinda based off Fang from Maximum Ride. It's basically showing how, if she and Nick had been present in the movie, things would have been a whole lot different.

Last, but certainly not least, is my most recent and fast growing fic, which is about Rise of the Guardians. A couple weeks ago i watched Rise of the Guardians for the first time. Withing the space of four days, i had literally watched the movie seven times. And when i say literally, i mean literally. I counted. I've bought the movie since then. It's almost like Shadow was being molded by the above mentioned fics and i was just waiting to watch the movie. She fits into the universe kind of perfectly, so within a week or two i've come up with over twenty pages of Shadow, Pitch's daughter, and her past. It shows up in flashbacks throughout the story until it's ultimately revealed to Jack, who forms a difficult friendship with her.

And now for the sexist quiz! Hooray!

The "questions" will be in bold, my responses will not.

Also, for the record, I am a girl. Yeah.

YOUR GUY SIDE: Here we go. Bring on the sexism!

You love hoodies. Yes. Definitely a yes there, they're so comfy and warm and you can mess with the sleeves in awkward social situations... I get in those a lot.

You love jeans. What's the alternative? Sweatpants? They're comfy, but come on people, respect yourself in public! Wait... I've just been informed that skirts exist. Ew. No thanks. Jeans are pretty much the only things i voluntarily wear on my legs.

Dogs are better than cats. Duh. The cats are going to kill us all in our sleep someday, and dogs will be there to protect us. No contest.

It's hilarious when people get hurt. Wait, you mean most girls don't find that funny?...

You've played with/against boys on a team. For sure. You have to show them who's boss. Besides, most of my friends who are girls are afraid of breaking a nail anyways... Not all, but most.

Shopping is torture. Oh god yes. What genius invented the idea of wandering around aimlessly just looking at stuff you really don't need anyways? I will punch him in the neck. I mean, seriously. Just walk in, buy what you need, and run the heck out of there before the shopping fairies get to you.

Sad movies suck. Umm, no. Some sad movies have meanings and lessons and all that jazz, but pointless sad movies suck. If the main character randomly gets hit by a train in the last five seconds of the film and the people in the theater start bawling their eyes out, you can bet that the rest of the movie was a little bit pointless and overall sucky.

You own/ed an X-Box. Still do. I won't make a list of the games i play, but yeah. I've had my fair share of sexist comments about that, let me tell you.

Played with Hotwheel cars as a kid. Ahh, memeories...

At some point in time you wanted to be a firefighter. What kid didn't? But then i read Fahrenheit 451 and the profession was forever ruined for me.

You own/ed a DS, PS2 or Sega. DS, and i think i still have it lying around somewhere. Also, my brother lost half of my games. Before that, he erased every single file on every single one of them. Why is murder illegal?!

You used to be obsessed with Power Rangers. Hopefully that can be explained easily. I mentioned i have a brother, right? So, umm, there's my excuse.

You watch sports on TV. No. that's boring as *. Get up and play something yourself instead of watching the people on the screen do it.

Gory movies are cool. Meh. Gore itself doesn't bother me, but usually gore shows up in scary movies, and i'm not really a fan of things randomly popping out of shadows.

You go to your dad for advice. For some advice, but not all.

You own a trillion baseball caps. Nope. Extremely short hair plus baseball cap equals me looking bald.

You like going to high school football games. That's too social an event. I prefer to stay home and ignore the outside world in general. That is the reason you sometimes see stories on here.

You used to/do collect football/baseball cards. My mother wouldn't let me, she said i would become a tomboy when i got older. (Yeah, Mom, not buying the cards totally helped.)

Baggy pants are cool to wear. So comfortable! But again, Mom cuts in with the whole, "tomboy" thing...

It's kinda weird to have sleepovers with a bunch of people. Not necessarily. Although the pink-makeup-and-nail-polish-glittery-type sleepovers really aren't my thing. I miss the days when i was still allowed to have sleepovers with guys, and we could just drink Mountain Dew and stay up all night playing video games. Remind me why we have to grow up, again?

Green, black, red, blue, or silver are one of your favorite colors. Yes! I'd have to go with blue. Or green. Or silver. (This is where my Harry Potter instincts come in; Slytherin all the way!)Or black. Silver and black together are really cool. Red is alright, i guess. Not my favorite.

You love to go crazy and not care what people think. Sometimes. Depends where i am, really, and whether or not the social situation allows it. I don't care what people think, but life can be more interesting if you just sit there quietly, watching and waiting... (Cue evil laugh.)

Sports are fun. To play, yeah. I get bored watching them, although i'll admit basketball is interesting to watch, even if i can't play or understand the rules.

Talk with food in your mouth. Oh, come on. We all do it when no one's there. Admit it. Besides, it's considered multitasking by some people. (Me.)

Sleep with your socks on at night. Depends. Hot night equals no socks, cold night equals one layer of socks with a fuzzy layer on the top.

YOUR GIRL SIDE: Oh, good lord... So many stereotypes.

You wear lip gloss/chapstick. Not really. Only chapstick, in the winter time. You know how it is.

You love to shop. We've been over this already. No.

You wear eyeliner. No. Makeup on my eyes? Really? I enjoy being able to rub my eyes throughout the day.

You wear the color pink. No, but i've been told it goes with my complexion. (Tan, but not quite the light coffee brown of Hispanics, yet not light enough to be white. Mom is Peruvian, Dad is very white. Or lobster red, if it's summer.)

You go to your mom for advice. Sometimes, but not much.

You consider cheerleading a sport. There's a lot of exercise and moving around, so i guess it's half a sport, no offense to you cheerleaders out there. But can something really be called a sport when its sole purpose is to promote an entirely different sport? I just don't see the logic on there. But that's just my opinion.

You hate wearing the color black. Nope. I don't wear it to the point were it could be considered "goth" or "emo" (I'm not a big fan of labels myself), but most graphic tees or fan-based shirts come on black. So nope, definitely don't hate it.

You like hanging out at the mall. No. Get in, and get right back out. Never stay longer than necessary.

You like getting manicures and/or pedicures. Nope. I'm not a fan of paying to have my strangely shaped toes get made fun of in another language. And trust me, i've been told they're odd looking toes.

You like wearing jewelry. Earrings only, and i have a silver ring with my nickname on it. The ear piercings i've had since i was six months old, so i had no say in the matter. A stud or spike on the top of my ear would be cool to have, i think, but this is the part where my mother cuts in.

Skirts are a big part of your wardrobe. I've made this point already. Only jeans. Ever.

Shopping is one of your favorite hobbies. Has the definiton of "hobby" changed to being something you absolutely loathe? Well, yeah, shopping is a hobby of mine!

You don't like the movie Star Wars. No. Never will i renounce star Wars. My childhood, that was. Gah, i can't even- You have no idea how frustrated i get when girl friends don't understand my Star Wars references. I could just start pulling out my hair by the roots.

You were in gymnastics/dance. I was five, and thank the My-Mom-Made-Me-Do-It gods that I’m out of there! (Just kidding, i'm an atheist. There are no gods.)

It takes you around/ more one hour to shower, get dressed, and make-up. Pffft. I shower the entire hour, just standing in the hot water. Then i throw on clothes and do absolutely nothing to my hair. Makeup? I think i've made myself clear on this point already. No.

You smile a lot more than you should. With my friends, yes. I have a tendency of glaring at everyone else. I don't mean to, but... it just comes out looking that way. Sorry, everyone! But i do kind of hate everyone before i get to know them. Nothing personal.

You have more than 10 pairs of shoes. Hmm, let's see... Four pairs of converse, some combat boots, and flip flops. Lots of flip flops. So, yeah. Technically.

You care about what you look like. Meh. I try to be respectable looking in public, but not in that "I want those guys to look at me and fall in love with me" kind of way. I wear graphic tees and hoodies, mostly.

You like wearing dresses when you can. If i can't handle skirts, dresses are no-no's as well. They just don't feel right. There shouldn't be a breeze down there!

You like wearing perfume. I'm allergic, actually. Thank goodness. I just can't stand the smell of a lot of that stuff. But for some reason, people keep sending me lotions and hand sanitizers. A message, maybe? I thought i showered often enough... But, seriously, Bath and Body Works. "Blue" smell? What does blue even smell like?

You love the movies. Wait, how is this gender-specific in any way? I happen to have a ton of guy friends who love the movies. Where did this test come from, again? To be honest, i'm a fan of chick-flicks, because they're all hilarious. Not hilarious in the way the director wanted it to be, but in the "real life is never actually like this" sort of funny. I have a dark sense of humor, or so i've been told. i can't stand horror movies, but i love Stephen King books. don;t ask me why.

You used to play with dolls as little kid. Yes. For some reason I'm not entirely ashamed to admit, i ripped the heads off all of my Barbies and replaced them with little plastic animal heads. Then all the plastic puppies and frogs got blonde little faces. Needless to say, my parents were horrified. Years later, i discovered Maximum Ride, and saw i wasn't the only person to have this idea.

You like putting make-up on someone else for the joy/joke of it. Joke, maybe. To be honest, you'll only find me wearing makeup on Halloween. Maybe. But realistically, not even then.

You like being the star of everything. Nope. This is the reason my real name isn't anywhere in this website, apart from the fact that creepers exist everywhere. I don't want anyone from school to know where to find my stories. Because, well, i just don't want some things to be in the spotlight. My writing is one of them.

Woahh that was way deep. (For me.)Wait, i just ruined it? Meh. It happens.

Nameless tribute is chased by Careers and wants to be remembered. I couldn't decide on a district or gender, so I left it up to the reader. One-shot, not a happy ending but that's only to be expected in the Hunger Games. Different from my other fics.
