Author has written 11 stories for Death Note, Vampire Knight, Shiki, Hetalia - Axis Powers, Bleach, and Durarara!!/デュラララ!!. Hello! (Yes! I'm not dead yet!) I'm DoubleEdgedSword99, as you hopefully know, but you can call me anything from my full username to snippets of it to my real one (at the bottom). I'm generally good at getting back to reviews and thanking people for subscriptions/favorites, but I'm terrifyingly busy this year -- I know I haven't gotten back to some of you, but I'll try to get on that. If you want my opinion on something, I'll give it -- same if you want me to read something of yours or write per request. I love to talk, so you can PM me anytime! Note: Looking back on my old writing, I realize that a lot of it is absolute garbage. I'll be re-writing a lot of it, and branching out a lot more. I'm also going to be fixing the grammar and spelling on everything I've posted here. As such, I'll probably be absent for another very, very long period of time. As for my story "Fanfiction," for the Death Note fandom, I'm sorry to say that it is now DISCONTINUED. I'm in the process of thinking up a whole new plot for it, under a different title and as a whole new story, simply with the same roots and basically the same beginning. There'll be more angst (fun, fun), less insanity, better spelling, better quality, a plot I actually think about before I type up, and less focus on Matt/Mello/Near and more just their day-to-day lives. There are reasons for me suddenly deciding this, and here they are (even though they aren't very good): First and foremost -- I hate the way I wrote the characters. They're fine for crack, as I had originally intended, but I ended up venturing into the land of angst. I had no idea what I was doing, and the plot was full of more holes than my brother's socks. I apologize for the inconvenience, but as it stands now, I can't be satisfied with how it'll turn out. So, basically... I'm only mostly dead. (If I die completely, feel free to search through my pockets and look for loose change.) I'm still lurking. Posting stuff has kind of lost it's appeal; I'll gain it back one day. (Maybe.) P.S. AAAAH! Credit for the last prompt in "Passing By" goes completely to mAnGa ObSeSsEd PaNdA... I'm so sorry I forgot to add it in! I'm smacking my forehead right now, believe me. Again, I'm super sorry! To all others, you should definitely check out what she's written - she's so much better at RenRuki than I am! PERSONAL STUFF: I like the way rain tastes and smells; watching sunsets and reading old books. I like beaches and blackouts and extended family. I like school (most of the time). I like moths and dragonflies. I like stuffed animals and running around like a little kid. I like the way my guitar feels in my hands and the way my flute feels against my mouth. I like my school's marching band. I like screaming like I'm being chased by a wild Pokemon (that I still like watching). I like to make cookies with my mom and argue with my older brother about something so stupid we laugh about asking what it was in the first place. I like moons and owls and feather pens that I try to write with. I like Frank Sinatra and Three Days Grace (and Red and Skillet and My Chemical Romance and Breaking Benjamin and Katy Perry and Boyce Avenue and the Beatles and Kanon Wakeshima and Oingo Boingo and Taylor Swift and Poets of the Fall) in the same playlist. I like defying the rules of spelling and trying to defy those of physics. I like mystery novels and sugar and crying my eyes out over something pointless. I like writing poetry and reading other peoples. I like acting crazy when I'm with my friends and waving at those who give us strange looks.
