BIO UPDATE: JANUARY 2009 -- Seriously. Not dead. ;) And yes, I'm still writing. Just very, very slowly.

BIO UPDATE: AUGUST 13, 2006 - In case anyone ever looks at the bio page, I've updated OGAM over at Mediaminer. We're up to chapter 55 now, and I actually figure the story will end (finally) around chapter 60. Yes, the ficbeast will soon be laid to rest. Of course, I've started the process of revising and editing the early chapters, and the whole beast will eventually be housed over at "Guilty Pleasures" (thank you again, Leilani!). I've already started plugging away at chapter 56, because I really want to get this thing finished!

In addition to this, "A Bump in the Road" has been updated as well. Chapter Nine: "Feed a Cold, Starve a Fever" is posted for your perusal and (hopefully), your enjoyment. (And a quick note about FB canon -- it's very important to remember that BitR was originally conceived about two years ago. Given the character development Takaya-sensei has given us, particularly in the most recent chapters, "Bump" isn't going to be able to keep up. So just try to remember where the characters used to be. :D )

I realize the updates have been really, really slow lately. I got married on July 1, 2006, and those couple of months beforehand were insane. The muses got frightened away, and have slowly, slowly been coming back home to me. Not that I think any of y'all are sitting on the edge of your seats, waiting for me to update, but I figured I'd let you know. :)

Um... oh -- completely randomly: a few people have asked me if I "minded" them sending fanart. No, I do not "mind." In fact, I usually run the risk of cracking the windows with my ecstatic squee-ing whenever I happen to get any. So... yeah. Don't feel like you've got to ask. ;)

And... I think that's about it!

BIO UPDATE: APRIL 06, 2006 - If no one's guessed, I'm really bad at updating this area. Yes, I'm still working on OGAM. No, I'm not going to abandon it. The most recent chapter was posted to MediaMiner in November, and I'm presently struggling with the latest chapter. It's about half done, I think. It's got a lot going on in it, so it's been kind of difficult to wrangle.

The latest chapter of "A Bump in the Road" is out to beta and should be posted in a few days. I have to say Evvie and I are really thrilled and pleasantly surprised that so many people are enjoying this story. :D

I've changed my homepage link (finally). Yes, Green Tea is a thing of the past, and depending on how Real Life goes, there may be another fansite someday. Real Life, hower, has been kind of busy for me -- we just had a new addition to our little family in February: an Australian Shepherd puppy named Darwin, who has been requiring a LOT of my time. That's part of the reason the writing's been going so slowly -- I've got a baby to take care of! ;) The homepage link now goes to my Livejournal page. I don't really talk about much fanstuff there, and I think it's pretty boring most of the time, but it's a link. And I do post there when a story gets updated, so if anyone cares about that stuff, it's a good place to look. Not that anyone cares about that stuff, but... oh, you know what I mean.

BIO UPDATE: JUNE 10, 2005 - Holy crap. Okay, my last update for OGAM was in November of 2004, with Chapter 50 ("As Time Goes By"). Between November and June there existed more RL family drama than a Lifetime movie. However, I did get Chapter 51 ("Homecoming") posted at the Green Tea site and Mediaminer last week sometime. New chapters should be coming with something resembling regularity now, I hope.

In other fic-related news,the prologue for astory I've been working on with the lovely and talented Everstar is up -- "A Bump in the Road" is a Shigure-centric FB fic, which will not be short, by any stretch of the imagination, no matter how brief the prologue is. ;)

BIO UPDATE: OCTOBER 19, 2004 "Of Gods and Monsters" has been updated twice since my last "bio update" -- chapters 48 and 49 have been posted to Green Tea (found through my homepage link) and Mediaminer.org -- I'm not sure if those two chapters have gone up on Sphere of Silence yet.

BIO UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 24, 2004 "Of Gods and Monsters" has been updated. Chapter 47 "Stumbling Towards Normal" can be found at Green Tea and Mediaminer. This chapter contains Inuyasha swearing, so consider yourself warned.

BIO UPDATE: AUGUST 3, 2004 "Of Gods and Monsters" has been updated. Chapter 46 "Midnight Watch," can be found at Green Tea and Mediaminer. This chapter contains a lemon, so consider yourself warned.

BIO UPDATE: JULY 18, 2004 I don't know if anyone reads these things, but just in case they do, here's a little heads up-- "Of Gods and Monsters" has been pulled from FFN. Why, you may ask? Well, I have your answer right here!

"Main reason for removal: 'Rating: explicit content or adult content above current rating.'"

If you don't feel like going there, it's also at mediaminer, but for some reason, it never comes up on their search engine, so I actually recommend using my site. Depending on whether or not I cool down in the next few days, I may remove myself entirely from FFN, as I believe this story removal was utterly uncalled for. The story was rated "R" and contained material no more explicit than an "R" rated movie. But, apparently MPAA guidelines are too specific for FFN, and would greatly hinder their ability to remove stories with the speed and efficiency of any knee-jerk reaction.
