Author has written 28 stories for Inuyasha, Yu-Gi-Oh, Dengeki Daisy/電撃デイジー, Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin, Fruits Basket, Ouran High School Host Club, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, Yu Yu Hakusho, Maid Sama!, Avengers, and Hetalia - Axis Powers. مرحبا! أبدا كزة تنين النوم في العين. Well, welcome to my humble abode...A bit about myself: I'm a female student writer (also a bit of an artist - this plays into my dreams of becoming an architect. ;D) who is a hopeless romantic and has a bit of an overactive and rather suspenseful imagination. People tell me that I'm very "guru-like" and that I was born in the wrong century. While I love living in the twenty-first century, I can't deny that there are parts of me that wish I was born during the 50s or even farther back during the Renaissance era. I usually write for various mangas/animes, but lately I've found myself coming up with storylines for different superhero franchises, cartoons that I watched as a child and Harry Potter. When I write, I usually write with a lot of emotions, symbolism and thoughts. Not that I don't love sensory details; those are a writer's best friend. I've just been really influenced by William Shakespeare's Macbeth and William Golding's Lord of the Flies. I've also been told that I'm very suspenseful and dramatic. I try to keep it on the down low, but I believe that suspense is a key plot moving technique in some storylines. I am aware that suspense is not everyone's cup of tea, so I don't make every chapter a suspense-fest. The same goes for drama. I also tend to write more oneshots than multichapter stories, and that's mainly because I'm really inspired by head-canons. When I review for another writer on this site, I usually review every chapter or specific chapters because I feel that not enough people take advantage of the review option. It's a precious opportunity to offer your two cents on a chapter (POSITIVELY) and it also boosts the author's morale. I will never flame a chapter. I dislike flames, especially guest flames, because they do nothing but hurt the writer's confidence. The writer might have spent months perfecting the chapter and here you are, flaming it. Guest flames annoy me in particular because it only shows cowardice. It's very easy to say things without having it being directed toward you. If you do decide to flame, at least have some of your own work so we can critique it. That is how we grow as writers. I, however, choose to PM the writer if I want to offer constructive criticism that might not be interpreted as such. I feel that PMing is a much safer and better way to deal with the situation. OOC-ness... Lately I have gotten a lot of complaints on how I am characterizing some characters. I would like to point out that this is my interpretation of these characters. I realize that some of you may not have the same perspective as I do when it comes to certain characters, and that's perfectly okay. I'm able to respect that you all have different interpretations of different characters. What I do not appreciate, however, is a review or PM telling me that *insert character here* would never say or do something, making my story very OOC. I am not the actual writer of these animes/mangas, so again, my perception of these characters are going to be different than you're used to seeing. If you have a problem with my "version" of the character, you need not read my story. Don't like, don't read. It's as simple as that. Update speed... A lot of you have asked me to update quicker and whether I've dropped stories/given up on them. First off, I'm flattered that you all like my writing that much; I feel like I'm finally doing something right for once. Second, to you all who simply say 'hurry up and update' in a generally annoyed tone, I'm sorry, but I am not writing for you or on your pace. I am only human, which means I've got problems of my own. Sometimes they take time away from my writing and such, and there's really nothing I can do about that. I will say that I started these stories with the intention of finishing them, and you all can be damn sure I will finish them. The road there might take a while, but I will finish them. I hope you all stick around for the ending. Spelling... Being a person who's not originally from the US, I spell things the way most of you would call 'The British Way'. (Yes, this means 'ou' in 'colour' and 'behaviour'.) I used to carry on my spelling in my fanfictions until I decided to break the habit when my science teacher so kindly docked every spelling point I could have gotten on a research project.
