Author has written 10 stories for Harry Potter, Gattaca, Soul Eater, x-men, Avatar: Last Airbender, Teen Titans, and Young Dracula. I love to read. Period. Writing? I love it too. The big difference? I've been seriously reading a whole lot longer than I have been writing. This is more like my attempt to see what others think of my writing. Is it as clear as I think it is? Do I need to keep my characters in character? Am I rushing things? These are questions I cannot answer on my own because to me, it seems as good as I can get it. Input is something I'm looking for! Writing is my way of saying what I want to say and if there's any way of improving how I say things than I'll take criticism and a blow to my pride any day. I do not own my avatar. I just found it online and thought it was fabulous. Please don't sue me if you happen to own the picture. Note: I will probably be rather busy until the first week or two of July. I'm really sorry for the lack of updates until then but please keep in mind that I am definitely still going to update my stories. Thank you! My Stories: * = The current story I am most in the mood for at the moment (in other words, the one you should expect the most updates on for the time being) Priority Stories: not to be abandoned Two Sides of the Same Coin - Albus Severus Potter had always been different - not that anybody knows. Beneath that sweet Gryffindor mask lies a different side to him and when the Muggle world discovers wizardry, Albus's unknown side might be the only thing capable of saving magic. Essentially my own take on Harry's second child. It was pretty obvious (in my opinion) that Albus was headed to Slytherin. I was just curious: what if it went even further? What if it wasn't just Slytherin, but Albus was actually Dark? That he would fulfill the bitter, angry side of Harry that never bore fruit? Harry had grown up abused, mentally if not physically. Rowling had pointed out that Harry was literally a mirror reflection of Voldemort except with the capability to love. But who ever said that love would stop you from taking the dark path anyway? That is the Albus I'm exploring. The Crown Prince - Firelord Azulon had been furious at his second son. What right did Ozai have to demand the throne when his own brother had just suffered a loss? He delivered Ozai's punishment, but eavesdropping Azula hadn't liked what she had heard and twisted the truth. What if her lies had never taken root and the true punishment had been carried out as planned? If it wasn't obvious already from the summary, this is my AU of how Zuko's life could have been like. I always thought that there was no way Azulon would have ordered the death of his grandson when he so obviously took offense at Ozai's request for the crown. There will be three parts to this story. And Zuko will most likely be a very different person emotionally, mentally, and physically. More mature and levelheaded, something I think would have served him well had he applied such aspects from the start of the Avatar series rather than towards the tail end. (Although make no mistake, I really loved how he evolved from his whiny, angsty beginning.) The Horcrux - Harry's grown up under Voldemort's thumb knowing he's a Horcrux. So when he finally manages to escape, he suddenly finds himself in Light territory attending a strange school named Hogwarts with none other than the Light Lord, Dumbledore, as Headmaster. This Harry is Dark...with a dash of residual humanity from his genes. You can imagine it sort of like a Harry growing up as Voldemort's son or student. But from the start, Harry was rebellious and compliant - a contradiction. Don't make the mistake that they had a particularly loving relationship. Far from it. I do plan on focusing on Voldemort and Harry but my initial thirty chapters or so will concentrate on Harry's independence and the many plans he has wreathed within his mind for the Light territory he has now entered. Draco is included. I find him to be a rather interesting character as well. I know a lot of people thought of him as a coward and weak for never actually following his gut instinct and getting the hell out of the Dark Lord's clutches, but I think he never had a choice. There's only so much you can do when you grew up with everybody around you almost worshipping an insane man. He would have been literally turning his back on his entire childhood teachings had he gone to the Light. Imagine that. And Voldemort is not insane nor is he bald and white as a freaking corpse. He never died here and with Harry to occupy him, he had less time to spiral deeper and deeper into darkness. *A Normal Life - Before moving to Stokely, before discovering his true power, before things had just gone down the drain, Vladimir "Vlad" Dracula, son of the infamous Count Dracula, was invited to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry upon his eleventh birthday. In a world where wizards, vampires, and other magical creatures live, Vlad must find his place among them all. AU This is essentially my AU crossover of Young Dracula and Harry Potter. It just seemed so perfect to me. There are vampires in the world of Harry Potter but they were never really expounded upon, something I'm actually rather pleased with because this means I can paste the Young Dracula versions in there. There will be a few changes in this one in terms of the Young Dracula timeline. Vlad will receive his letter upon the predetermined of 11 as all other wizards receive theirs. He does not use a wand but rather wears a bangle on his left arm to facilitate his magic, making all of his magic seem wandless. There will be more changes later on but I will keep those locked up for now. Harry Potter's timeline will probably remain rather accurate for their First Year or so but that timeline will also change eventually. You can't just stick in Vlad and expect nothing to happen after all! And for those who love Robin...yes, he will be in the story eventually. Potential Stories Survival - Fourteen year old Harry Potter had only ever known the suburb he had grown up in with his abusive relatives. When he suddenly wakes up to find himself in the middle of a jungle with only a single empty pouch at hand, he has no idea what to do until he discovers that he is in the midst of a test set up by wizards of all things to see who would best survive. This is kind of exactly what the title sounds like: survival. All of my notes on this AU is at the bottom of the first chapter. There will be most likely be multiple parts to this if I continue it. This is just the first "phase", so to speak. Mutation - Sixteen year old Xavier had no idea that getting caught in the middle of a murder at a Munich bar would change his life forever. Nor did he imagine that the genetic mutations he so loves to study would have any impact outside of his studies. So what happens when he ends up discovering himself a mutant with a revenge obsessed Holocaust survivor as his mentor? Imagine a world where Xavier is about fourteen years (or more - I'd have to do more research) younger than he originally was in the Xmen:First Class movie. Place a younger Magneto fourteen years (or more) older than Xavier and still going by the name Erik traveling around the world trying to kill off Nazis and have them meet in a Munich bar. Xavier has no idea that there are others with mutations like himself and although his first encounter with Erik is a rather bloody one with a dead Nazi on the floor, a series of events force them to run and work together. Like Things That Are Lost, I have a rather limited knowledge of the Xmen world so it will most likely deviate majorly from any large events in the original comics. This was just an idea out of the blue and I had to jot it down. Perspective- Kane doesn't know the definition of normal. He grew up playing with knives and giggling at monsters. What's an obsessive-compulsive son of Death going to do when he's plunged into Soul City's society? In this story, Kane is Death the Kid, Evans is Soul Evans, Mary is Maka, and Brant is Black Star. I made Mary Evans's younger sister and Brant his best friend. Kane is entering the actual world with actual people with actual asymmetries. Haven't gotten much further than that so most likely will be dropped. It Isn't Written in Stone- Vincent is an Invalid. He has the incurable disease of being born with no DNA modification. His younger brother, Anton, is the perfect child. When the prejudice gets too much for Vincent to handle, will he accept the chance to escape it all? This is an AU on Gattaca. I will have Vincent gain a chance at "fighting back" much earlier in life. Pretty much unplanned after that... The Outcasts - Harry Potter grew up where magic was very real and his eyes blindfolded not for his, but the world's sake. After years away from the Wizarding World's eyes, he has finally decided to return to his home country with another whom society both loathed and respected. His goal? To study at the famous Hogwarts University for the Magically Gifted where a certain Tom Riddle also attends. So pretty much an AU. The majority of my notes on this AU are in my author notes at the end of chapter 1. Who Said I Wanted to be a Hero? - Upon the entrance of a new generation of Teen Titans, new enemies and new allies usher in a new age of heroes in Jump City. But one particular boy who has been born into a legacy that many would beg for wants nothing more than to live a normal life and would give anything to achieve it. AU Next Gen Titans Okay so I suppose I was on a Teen Titan high and I just really wanted to spit out something on my mind since forever: the next generation. Not much more I can say about this one so far except I actually KNOW the background to the stories this time and will probably be continued. Side Note for my story Two Sides of the Same Coin: Sorry for any confusion about Lily. She IS in Ravenclaw...sorry if that wasn't clear at the beginning. Gah...such a bad mistake on my part Xl AND somehow my chapter 5 got exchanged with my chapter 10 so just know that my chapter 10 wasn't meant to be chapter 5. Side Note for my story The Horcrux: There was one section in chapter 3 that mentioned Harry placed a Silencing Charm on the drapes (surrounding his four-poster bed). Just so you guys don't get confused, Harry did NOT use magic to place that charm there. It was a bad mistake on my part!!! GAHHHHH. I can't believe I did that. But, anyway, just remember that Harry CANNOT use magic in the Light barrier so far so he couldn't have placed that Silencing Charm on the drapes. Side Note for my story The Crown Prince: I am planning to have about three (?) parts to the story. So I decided to actually start naming the chapters :P I am also aware that Azulon might be OOC in many places but hey it's my AU so I can make him like I want him to be. And we never really knew much about him anyway right? So I can mold my own character. | |||||
