My avatar is a very disapproving starfish. It's disapproving of me not being able to write fast enough. I love that starfish. It motivates me. I need a new avatar, though. Eventually I'll get around to making a proper one.

Anyone care enough to want to know about me? I'd hope that's why you're here; either that or to read my stories. I'll tell you anyway.

I am an eccentric, mellifluous, female, Christian kiwi with an itch to write perhaps as powerful as Portal's DOS system's itch to test. I'm in the lower regions of this site's age bracket, but I'm not going to tell you my exact age because of the internet. It's all the internet's fault. I get absolutely transfixed with small things like the texture of my tongue or a pile of sand because God's creation is just so completely amazing. I also never, ever spell tongue right the first time. I sometimes think too much and end up not saying what I was thinking.

On the topic of kiwis - kiwis are small, endangered flightless birds with sturdy legs and long beaks. They are native to New Zealand (otherwise known as Aotearoa), a country that's about as close to Antarctica as you can get without actually being there. New Zealand is made up of a group of islands, the two main ones creatively called the North Island and the South Island. I live on the North, in the city known as Auckland. New Zealand is not on some maps because the cartographers were blinded by our awesomeness and decided not to put us on the map. It's all about the safety of the public.

I share a birthday with Hitler. Seriously. About nine million other people, too, but Hitler's the most interesting of them. Now every time I have a birthday I ought to sing "Happy birthday to me and Hitler and nine million other people..."

I enjoy video games and am heavily influenced by everything I read, see, hear and play. I get inspiration from incredibly strange things- a few sentences in a story, a few bars of music in an online flash game, a five-second scene in a TV show. All these things have actually caused me to write stories.

Okay, STORY UPDATES INFO. I'm getting annoyed with people complaining about updates. Please don't pester me to update, okay? It's not 'motivation', it's just annoying. I know you mean the best, but I still don't like it. It's even WORSE when you do it as an anon because I can't reply to you and tell you why I'm not updating.

Anything with the word "ONESHOT" in the summary is a oneshot. I.e., one chapter, no more updates. So there.

The World in Which We Fail: Complete. :) Sequel will be made soon.

Ears to Hear Us: Updates every two weeks or so, sometimes more, sometimes less. Not often less. It'll be around forty chapters, maybe more.

Wither King: Officially a oneshot. Sorry. :P

Brave Enough: Updates whenever I have inspiration for a poem. Sometimes that takes a while. :P

Broken Realities: Updates eventually. Usually quickly. :D
