Author has written 43 stories for Highlander, A-Team, and NCIS. I starting pulishing my fanfiction on the net in 2003, although like many people here I had been writing my own stories long before that. My first story was "I never liked Art in High School" set in the HL actually had nothing to do with either Art or High School but focused on the father/son relationship between Duncan/Richie. Over the next three years I wrote nine (and a half) stories in that Universe, with increasing appearences from Methos, Connor and Amanda as I discovered how much fun they were to write. Although, I knew my interest in the show was fading even before Richei was killed when my stories became increasing AU as I started to construct my own 'future perfect' version of the universe in my 'Richie gets to save the world' trilogy = The Quickening, The Plague and A Place Out of Time. My A-team stories are actually polished up versions of things I wrote long long ago before I had really discovered the internet. Part of me almost regrets writing "The New Arrival" for Hannibal and Face - it would have fit Tony and Gibbs so well. Since 2006 NCIS has been my consuming passion, the art of trying to write the obviously strong bonds of respect and affection between Gibbs and Tony whilst saying very little (Gibbs) and using a lot of words but still not saying very much (Tony) has been an interesting challenge. I've loved the show for its humour and the family feeling between the characters and hope that you will find that reflected in my stories. I have decided to disable the ability to leave anonymous reviews. Whilst I have always wished to encourage feedback to my stories and am happy to engage in creative discussion I have never relied upon or demanded reviews for my writing, which is solely for my pleasure and for others to enjoy. Therefore, I am especially saddened by the increasing number of people who hide behind anonymity to nit pick about spelling, grammar and punctutation. Like many writers here I do take pride in my stories - but I also have a full-time job, children and a busy life. In my professional writing I proof read to death but this site is intended as entertainment for the writers and their audience. If you consider the time, effort and dedication it takes to craft a story of multiple chapters and thousands of words, please understand that errors will slip through and try to enjoy the experience in the spirit the writer intends. Just to say my season 7 story is progressing .. many thanks to all those who have enquired and prodded and offfered numerous ways and means of wathing season 7. The story looks like being about four chapters set around Gibbs support of Tony at the end of season 6 and start of season 7 .. and how could I resist the truth serum. I won't start posting until its complete and I'm happy with it - but hopefully that will be sometime this week. | |||||||||||
