Author has written 17 stories for Cause of Death, and Hunger Games. Hey! I'm Kimberly. I'm sixteen and a sophomore in high school, though I often get told that I look older. I've always loved books and writing just a little more than those around me. Growing up, I'd always have my dad read to me before bed. Even when I got to be the age where I could read myself, my dad continued to read to me. As I remember, we read through the entire American Girl series (or those that were published by about 2002). I eventually grew out of that particular series by age eleven, and began reading my own books by myself while my dad picked up the verbal reading with my younger brother. From kindergarten through sixth grade, we were always required to check out at least a couple books from my school's library every week. Everyone would complain and arbitrarily pick up random books and never even bother to open them; but I was always one of the few kids who secretly enjoyed the library time, and would actually pick a book out and read it. I've always looked forward to the writing units in English class as well. Most people would complain that a four page short story, double-spaced, was too much to write; but once again, I would be in the small group of people who would write ten pages and have to condense it down. In fact, most of the time I had to cut so much out just to fit the page limit, that I didn't even like it after I was done. To this day I still love reading and writing. There is just something so great about being able to get lost in another world and escape your reality, even if the 'other world' is fictional. God has blessed me with the unrefined desire to read and write, for which I am extremely thankful. I'm so grateful that He allowed me to have such a great childhood where I could be surrounded in an environment that encouraged reading. I will always strive to put God first in my life, and aim to bring glory to Him in both my writing and everything else I do. For this reason, I prefer to minimize my use of cussing and swearing to just characterization purposes. I'm not anywhere near perfect, and I will sin, fail and fall short; but I know He loves and will forgive me all the same. Though I do believe in God, I will never judge you for what you believe in. My writing isn't always on the cheery side, since I like to channel my emotions into writing. I do write happier stories as well, though, and I'm usually pretty optimistic. As I said, writing is my channel, and I'll often take my frustrations out on and through the characters I use. As of right now, I'd like to make my college major photography, though I'm unsure of a minor; perhaps graphic design or film. I've thought of psychology as a minor, but it's quite the odd pairing with photography. I'm overall undecided, but that's alright; I still have a couple years to decide. I'm not currently sure where writing will fit into my long-term career; but for now, I'll just enjoy the ride that is known as fanfiction. (: Aside from reading and writing, some other things I love are: country music, tumblr, pandas, photography, volleyball, Cause of Death, karate, and food. Oh, and if I reference 'CoD', I mean Cause of Death, not Call of Duty. So yeah. I realize that was very long, and it is more than likely that nobody actually read that. Anyways, if you leave me a review, I will probably freak out & partake in a mini happy-dance of excitement... so that would be really nice. C: Anyways, I hope you have a lovely day! (: Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters used in any of my work, unless otherwise stated in an A/N.
