Alright, so how egotistical am I? Sometimes when I get uninspired writing-wise, i read some old reviews. One dear soul quoted a bit of chapter something-teen in "Shaken Not Stirred"... the part where death eater X tells Lily that James has kicked it, and Lily's got this neat little mental soliloquy about what James's existence meant, and when i finished reading, I sat back in my seat, sighed, and said "wow, i'm good." okay. that sounds awful, even I'm aware, but seriously, that might be one of my favorite paragraphs that I've authored. what does that mean to anyone checking this profile? Only that I now have know idea how i'm going to top that and find myself less inspired than ever. But for real, guys, i'm working on it.

oh, and if you're curious, i read the reviews that told me I spelled "straight" wrong sixteen million times too, so i'm not ALL ego. Have a nice May...

"E! Wait up!"

Eden halted in her progression down the stairwell of the Entrance Hall as Lily caught up. "What goes on, Gorgeous?" she asked curiously.

Lily arrived on the same step as her friend, biting her lip and wearing a guilty expression.

"Spit it out then. Dinner time is only so long."

"Well," began Lily slowly. "Here's the thing... I'm quitting the club."

"We have a club? Oh. Right. That club! Wait... you're quitting? Why?"

But before Lily had any opportunity to answer, the girls were joined by Alice, arriving from the opposite direction. "Girls, I'm quitting the club," she stated, as if confessing a grevious sin and daring them to judge her for it.

Lily looked sympathetically at her. "Me too."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Why?"

"James. You?"

"Frank."

"Nice."

"Yeah."

They looked at Eden guiltily. "Sorry."

"Oh, it's fine. Just desert me. I don't care. You can start your own club and get heartbroken and eat chocolate all you like."

"Fine by me," said Lily, far too cheerfully.

"Me too," said Alice.

"Wanna come, E?"

"No, I'm becoming celibate."

Lily and Alice exchanged disbelieving looks. "Okay then," said the former presently. "Have fun with that."

"I will."

The two less chaste started towards the great hall. "So, what should we call our club?" Alice pondered thoughtfully.

"I don't know. We should invite Lexi."

They reached the landing, and Eden caught up with them. "Well, this Hufflepuff bloke did ask me out today..."
