A bit about me:

I was thirteen when I discovered fanfic, and I've been addicted ever since. I'm twenty now (oh, jeeze), and I've found that fanfic is a greatway to procrastinate! Joy. My stories are all spellchecked and Beta'd since I can't spell for my life... but this profile's not, so you'll have to excuse the lack-of-spelling.

Actually, a lot of the stories down there are quite old, so there may be a few scattered errors. Sorry about that.

The Tamora Pirece fic is the oldest, but I've left it up 'cos some of it is on people's favorites, and I know that I really hate it when my favorites are deleted. I have a weakness for Snape (Always have and always will... to you who doubted I TOLD YOU SO:-P), and also lurk in PotC, PotO, House and the Good Omens fandoms. I have recently discovered Doctor Who and Torchwood, and they have become my new obsession. Like I needed another one. Fantastic, as the Doctor says.

I've decided to stop posting WIP's because I tend to forget about them and then come back later, re-read them and then hate them, or just never finish them. SO, only finished stuff gets posted. This will mean longer time between stories, but shorter time between chapters, which can't be that bad, right?

Um. Oh dear. I have just skimmed over some of my old stuff, and I'm debating my deleting policy, which has lately been, "if it's finished, leave it and pretend it's not there." Because I've re-read some of my stuff and frankly it sucks. -winces- So, if you're here, mind the years on the stories; they were written a while ago.

GOOD OMENS:

Snake Charmer ~ one-shot. My first GO fic. I got the idea while I was bored, one day, and flipping through channels and watching Jeff Corwin milk a snake that looked so undignified over that jar. I thought, hey, wouldn't it be funny if someone tried to milk Crowley...?

HARRY POTTER :

Found ~ There is an issue with this one. The issue is the end of DH. Snape's character deals so much with memories that I just can't make it work. I've tried to twist it, but I just can't! So I'll tell you my basic idea, for anyone who cares. The basic story was that Numair would die in the war and wake up back in Tortall, because Death, like the Vail, is just a transition. BUT there is the issue with Lily and the memories, and it just won't fit. Lost worked beautifully (although, re-reading it, it is a little melodramatic), Hopeless was my coping mechanism for HBP, and I just can't fix DH. Poor Severus, who is decidedly not Numair.

Doctor Who / His Dark Materials

Alternates ~ NEW! It just begged to be written. This came from pondering what the Doctor's Daemon would be, and then, well, it just sort of grew. One-shot.

Pirates/ Phantom
(Odd? Why, yes! But give it some thought before you turn away - this crossover came about because Jack and the Phantom are endlessly interesting to compare. They're like night and day, you see? Moon white mask and golden teeth...)

Blood Ties ~ (Not up yet) ARRGH. This stupid story has given me no END of trouble! Several things just keep going wrong. It may make it up, it may not, we'll see.

(I still rather like this excerpt, though, so here it is)

“Right!” Jack said. “I’m feeling good about this.”

Guardian of the Gates ~ YAY! This is very exciting! My first story posted in ages, and my LONGEST posted story to date! Expect chapters once or twice a week, depending on how much time I have.

This story has been itching in my head since the end of Torchwood season three. Jack Harkness, from the Torchwood/ Doctor Who universe, ends up in Tortall after Children of Earth. Children of Earth, for those of you who do not know, is a seriously dark story. Tortall is a very light universe, in comparison, which is why I crossed them. Tortall tends to heal people, and if anyone is in need of redemption, it's Jack Harkness. Also, it's fun to surprise science-y characters with things like magic.

The Spaces Between ~ Coming soon! Part Two of the Guardian series. It's also finished, but has yet to be divided into chapters.

Here's an excerpt that shouldn't give away anything important:

Jack’s eyebrows rose. “Alanna wrote about me?” He shot her a look and she smirked, eyes sliding, both proud and exasperated, to George.
“Nah,” George said easily, hazel eyes glittering. “I just know these things.”
Jack liked him immediately. “You do, do you?” he replied, grasping the offered hand. George’s grip was strong and his palm callused.
“Are you flirting with my husband?” Alanna accused incredulously, and Jack gave her a dazzling smile.
“I could flirt with you too, if you like.”

Oy. My brain is overwhelmed with people named Captain Jack.

Check out my favorites because they are AWESOME and make me look like a third grader by comparison. ... There are quite a lot from Harry Potter and Doctor Who, but if you're here from TP (which is most likely) there should be like one or two there for you.
