I am a California native but my ‘home town’ is a closed Navy base. I spent a tour of duty during, but not in, the Gulf War, and eight years afterward discovering that I don’t like working in electronics. Now I’ve shed all shackles of domestication so I can focus on the good things in life: literature and kids. I live in California’s San Joaquin Valley with my two boys and go camping every chance I get.

I’m gearing up to go pro and decided to forgo the pen name. Please note the new aolim - CassEastham - but I’ll still answer to ‘Kess’ for the rest of my days.
