How to tell the difference between a Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.

You give each candidate a magic lamp with a genie.
The genie then tells said candidate that they may have one wish.

The Ravenclaw asks for all the knowledge in the world so that she/he might be able to answer his/her own wishes.

The Hufflepuff produces a Christmas List and spends ten minutes deliberating between a CD or a friendship bracelet before asking for world peace.

The Gryffindor asks for the power to duel the current dark lord (but forgets to ask to be the winner).

And the Slytherin asks for three more wishes.

May aswell update this.
Ok, so I am nuts... I have three fanfics on the go all at once... how dumb is that? Anyway Scream With Me finally got updated. The next chapter is in progress. As with Life and all the was left.. I have just about got the poetry part done for that. The nexty update should be much longer. Many plot ideas for Not Anymore (what kind of stupid title is that?) too.


Ok, I don't know why you're reading this, but I think I'll just use it to record my favourite fanfiction plotbunnies.

At the moment I guess I'm fairly obsessed with Harry-is-Lord-Voldemort's-Son or similar Voldemort-tries-to-persuade-Harry-to-join-the-Dark-Side. It's never, ever going to happen in the books. But it's so fun to think about.
Harry being captured/kidnapped etc is cool.
Dark!Harry is always good. (It's unlikely to happen in the book, though).

I also read:
Severitus Challenge responses (only if they're good though, I'm not obsessive like I am with Voldemort's son stories).
Harry's 6th Year, following on from OOTP.
The occasional angsty songfic.
Suicidal or Cutting Harry, but only if it's realistic.
Alternate Universe (brilliant).
Marauder Set stories, but rarely as I can't stand romance and it's difficult to find any with no or little romance (I just grit my teeth through the L/J that has to happen to stick with canon).
Angst.
Harry runs away from the wizarding world - especially when force has to be used to get him back! (:
Harry goes to Azkaban - poor him.

What I don't ever read: (no offence if you do, I have tons of great friends who do like the below and have nothing against those who do read or write it).
Slash (though I can just about bear Remus/Sirius if it's [I]very[I] in the background.
Romance (just can't stand it, as I've already said.).
