Author has written 51 stories for Golden Sun, Tales of Symphonia, Inuyasha, Tales of the Abyss, and Resident Evil. Welcome to Ark Navy's Den! Gender: Female Intro/extro: Mostly extrovert. Disclaimer for all stories: I make no profit from any and all the stories I post on FanFiction.Net and do not plan to make any profits. I do it for my own amusement and improvement as a writer. Announcements July 2009: I've come up with the bare bones of a trilogy for Eden, to be named Eden, Enrapt, and Eternity. Everything is going swimmingly and I'm really happy with the progress I've been making. Over 20k words, which is quite a record for my immensely slow writing skills. I have no doubt that Eden will be finished in the next couple years and eagerly await the day I can hopefully make it into print. Until then, I've tried to keep my fanfiction skills sharp and have tried to shake off the title of "has-been"... with little luck. I've got a long story planned for Resident Evil focusing, of course, on AdaLeon. I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up with my ToS and ToA multi-chaptered stories, but I'll certainly try. :) The Five Deadly Sins of Fanfiction (IMO) 1.) People who read, but don't review. In most circumstances, I can understand if you were pressed for time or simply forgot, but to have a story that is on the favorites of thirteen people and on alert of fifteen and to only get TWO reviews for one chapter? First of all, not only is it rude to read-and-run (especially if you liked the fic), but it makes the author think everyone suddenly boy-cotted their fic for reasons that are unknown to them. Secondly, more reviews = quicker updates. It's as simple as that. 2.) HPoC (Humor parodies on crack). No logic, no hidden messages, no plot, no sense: no point. Enough said. 3.) A consistant lack of punctuation. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but publishing a story requires you to be older than 13, which means knowing the most basic punctuation rules of the vernacular language, does it not? 4.) Twelve-year-olds on 'Sugar Rushes'/Caffiene Highs. Call me what you will, I cannot stand it. 5.) People who ask other people to read/review their stories. Now I'm not talkin' about the people who write "Plz RnR" in their summary, or the people who write "PLEASE REVIEW" at the end of a chapter ('cause I do that a lot) but the people who ask people to RR their fics in an IM/MSN conversation or in a PM or something of that context. The reason being, I check fanfiction at least twice a day, so chances are I'll see their story, and if I WANT to, I'll read and review it. Otherwise, it's like R&R rape.
