Okay, so I've deleted all my old stuff except for Diary of Draco. Why? Because there are some things a person just doesn't want to remember. I started here when I was 13; my stories were typical 13-year-old type stories; but I now know that Mary Sues are bad, that Self-inserts =/= a cool and original storyline/plot device and that I probably ought to proofread before I post a chapter. Diary of Draco is still there for two reasons, the first being that I plan to finish it off some day and the second being that I kind of like it in all its strange, adolescent silliness.

Will I still be posting stories here? Yes, surprisingly - after a several-years-long hiatus, I have decided to start writing again, and posting here is easier than posting at FA (though I'll probably end up cross-posting everything anyway).

Recently, I've gotten into Doctor Who, the result being that a billion Ten/Martha plotbunnies are eating away at my brain, so you'll see some of the results of that over here. I've seen all of New Who, plus a fair few Old Who stories (The Curse of Fenric = EPIC WIN), but I really, really dislike Rose, so Doctor/Rose fans won't find much joy here. My favourite Doctors are (in order) Seven, Four and Ten, and I've written fic for two of those (and am in the process of writing more; I'm always in the process of writing more). Also, I have decided that Romana is made of win, so I might try some Four/Romana some time in the future.

I generally post fics at my LiveJournal, bewarethespork, before I post them here. If you have an LJ, feel free to friend me; my LJ is mostly friends-only, but I do keep my fannish content (fic, icons, meta and so on) unlocked. Completed fics:

Belief - A little post-HBP speculation involving our favourite snarky Potions master.

In the Eye of the Beholder - A Remus one-shot set at an unspecified time after Voldemort's fall.

The Madness and the Void - A Doctor Who fic (my very first, in fact); implied Ten/Martha set in 1969.

Waiting - Because Ten/Martha is fun. A short, character-oriented piece set after the end of S3, so plenty of spoilers for the finale trilogy.

Moving On - Surprise, surprise, it's more one-sided Ten/Martha! Set during Human Nature/Family of Blood, and explores both Martha's experience there and her perception of the Doctor during the three months in Farringham.

Mirror Image - The long-promised Seven!fic; the Doctor is haunted by a phantom from his future. Guest-stars Nine, with a brief cameo from Eight and mentions of Mel and Ace. Angsty, dark and written in second person.

Remembrance - Donna!fic; my reaction to the events of the S4 finale. Goes without saying that it's full of spoilers, so if you haven't seen the finale yet (or any of S4, for that matter), then stay away from this one. If, however, you are like me and think that Donna was absolutely brilliant (and she was, don't deny it!), please do have a look.

Growing Pains - My very first attempt at explicitly shippy Seven/Ace, set over a time period between Dragonfire and The Curse of Fenric. Written as a set of post-serial missing scenes and focuses on the changing dynamics in the Seven/Ace relationship, based on the constant refrain of, "Professor, I'm not a little girl."

Men at sometime are the masters of their fate - Merlin genfic; my take on how the story we see unfold throughout the TV series relates to Arthurian legend. Contains over-use of the word destiny and a lot of confusing metaphors involving threads.
