Author has written 3 stories for Prince of Tennis, Detective Conan/Case Closed, and xxxHOLiC. Well, hello and welcome! Who dragged you in kicking and screaming? About Me I'm not one of those brilliant people who can take emotions and transform them into words, make gold flow from their fingertips and onto the page, or has a gift for eloquence. Hence, I read. I do more reading in a month than what I'll write in several lifetimes, I suspect, so please don't expect to see much from me. You'll only set yourself up for disappointment, I'm afraid. The fact that I'm female is kind of obvious, I think, but just in case you didn't know--well, now you do, I guess. I really, really like commas, long dashs, and super-long sentences. Get ready for a lot of those, yes? I used to love use '...'s a lot, but I've gotten over that annoying little habit now. In fact, an over-abundance of 'em really ruins an otherwise solid piece of writing for me. ...Hm, I get the feeling that I'm missing something here. Let's see now, what could it be? Oh yes, those little 'fact' things that are so the trend. Well. Can't risk the danger of being an outcast, now can I? Kiwee is (yes, improper use of the colon, I do know that): Random facts: Though I'm horrid at grammar and spelling, I'm a Nazi about 'em if I do catch a mistake, which is is why I obsessively edit everything every time someone points out one. I write like this on all chats and emails, which apparently makes people raise eyebrows. I really, really, really like candy, and I also practically live on caffeine. I've been called 'emo' more times than I can count, which is hugely ironic if you actually do meet me. I'm mostly very, very hyper and have been known to start on laughing fits that won't stop for durations of anything from half a minute to ten, but have been known to become the Devil's dam if I'm in one of my 'moods' (both usually courtesy of physics, nowadays). I like British spelling. About My Fandoms I'm not sure how to elude to this in an elegant manner, so I'll come out and say it: I have eyes only for slash fiction. It's not something I fully understand myself, but it would appear that, without my knowing, all I end up reading are about two homosexuals nowadays--mostly men, too. I didn't consciously do it, but somehow, along the way, it became that way. I'm sure I'm missing out on a lot of quality writing, but tell my Id that and it'll spew something out along the ways of "go away two guys are hotter I don't care straight is teh ew-age". As you may be able to see, I have the mentality of a three-year-old most of the time, so don't expect much depth from me. As for my favourites, the fandom change on a weekly basis, and the pairings are vast and diverse (just like the fandoms I like). I tend of have a fandom 'uke' (I abhor that word, but I don't want to use 'bottom' and certainly not the word I actually call 'em IRL) that I pair everyone else up with, but sometimes the person isn't always the 'uke'--but they mostly are. As of this moment (just as a snapshot in time), fandom would be D.Gray-man and pairing would be Grimmjow/Ichigo (Bleach). I expect this to be different tomorrow. Miscellaneous/Random Firefox's spell checker is my best friend. No joke. On the note of technology, I'm firmly on the side of Firefox if a browser war starts up anytime soon. On the same note, I'm currently fangirling my new, shiny, fast, quiet, beautiful, glorious laptop right now like nobody's business. I constantly fangasm over it, and I kiss it good night every day. Again, no joke (well, maybe a little). I do think I deserve it after using that piece of eight-year-old crap in the other room for the most part of my high school career. After reading Heart of Darkness, I don't think I'll ever be the same. Joseph Conrad is one scary, scary--albeit talented--man. Man, FFN really changed a lot over the years! I was here for the last five years and a bit of it, but I like the direction it's heading in. Thanks for visiting, darling, and I'll leave you with this, in light of the most unfortunately turn of events in today's world: "You don't win a war by dying for your country. You win a war by making the other son-of-a-bitch die for his." | |||||||||
