Author has written 4 stories for Titanic, and Alias. Hello, all! At 36, I'm aware that I'm WAY older than most of the authors on this site (maybe old enough to be the mother of some of you guys!). But, hey - a writer is a writer, and with age comes the benefit of personal experience - kids, divorce, marriage, money troubles, dysfunctional relationships and so on. My interests include creative story writing and psychology, and I believe the latter can greatly enhance the former. I'm passionate about writing, and reading, decent and intelligent stories. I don't 'do' Mary-Sue characters, and blatant self insert stories are also a no-no. I've been dabbling in original/fanfiction on and off as a hobby for 20 years. Now that my offspring is older, I hope to become a published novelist outside of fanfiction sites. I prefer to create original characters with Celtic roots (mostly Irish and Scottish). I also love writing for the Edwardian era; vintage-style stories where society and values of the 1900's were quite different to how they are today.
