Title: Rain on Mars
Rating: PG-13/R for violence, non-explicit sex, language, general doom.
Genre: Drama/mindscrew/Utena/what do you mean that isn't a genre?
Word Count: Projected to be about 120,000 words long. (Currently: 102,500 words.)
Summary: Exiled from Mars, Rei returns to the Moon to find the Queen absent and princess mildly unstable. The other senshi are either incompetent, following their own agenda, or trying to kill her. With a new power threatening the Moon and no reliable ally, Rei finds herself trapped in a game where the only certainty is the enemy, and the only thing she can trust is herself. Silver Mil AU, primarily PGSM-based.
Pairings: Serenity/Endymion, Jupiter/Motoki, Venus/Mars, Serenity/whoever she feels like it.
Ensemble cast, with an emphasis on Mars and Serenity.
Status: On hiatus. Roughs are at fasterassembly @ LJ.

Rating: PG/PG-13
Genre: Gen/Humor
Projected Word Count: Between 25,000 and 30,000 words, if everything goes as planned.
Summary: Post-normal end. Naoto takes on a seemingly minor case that snowballs to the Investigation Team butting heads with a god who has a bone or two to pick with Souji, and dealing with the kidnappings of two of their own members. Ensemble gen piece, weighted towards Naoto and Souji in the beginning and end.
Pairings: I'm going for a "pick and choose" version, myself.
Status: Fresh new project. Shiny. Haven't hit the point of "ffff WHAT WHY YOU DO THIS" yet. Hoping to hit 10,000 words before reaching that point.

Hello. I write original fiction most of the time, and in recent days, truckloads of Persona 4 stuff. Recurring themes: bad internal logic, wonky dialogue, and characterization that tries to be true, but can't tell its left from its right. More seriously, I'm fond of dorky friendships and bad wordplay. In terms of genre, my true love is for humor, but as a writer, my bread and butter lies in drama and gen. Or is it the salt of my labor?

As a general warning, this account has been around for a while. So has some of the writing. Much of my old writing is, for lack of better words, old and doubleplusungood, with an emphasis on the ungood. If you're interested in seeing my development as a writer, feel free to strap yourself in and experience the full horror. Otherwise, read things written before 2008 at your own peril. Actually, read everything up here at your own peril. Things tend to be unbetaed and only very poorly spellchecked. Throw in comma spam and it's a recipe for disaster and embarrassment on all fronts. I'll add that I left FF.net for a good while, and still only come on an infrequent basis. One thing that drives me crazy about this site is the formatting. The formatting is trying to kill me. Frustrated noise of frustration.

As far as personal details go, I'm a full-time college student, so a lot of my writing gets done to distract me from the massive pile of textbooks lurking next to the computer. I love a good story with plenty of great characters, but my writing tends to contain a few good characters and a lot of bad stories. I'm getting better at it. Probably.
