Normally, I don't write anything before the general profile, but I do want to dedicate a small bit of sympathy to the family of Kristine Batey, also known as Bachan. The owner of Hero in the 21st Century, Bachan died peacefully in her sleep on June 17th, 2005. May her soul be at peace, and the hearts of her loved ones strengthened. Thank you.
