Author has written 12 stories for Sherlock. You will find on this page the Sherlock fanfiction stories I have completed or am presently working on. They belong to various genres, so you may not like all of them, but there is a chance that you will like at least one of them, depending on your preferences. For what it's worth I can tell you that what I enjoy writing the most are character studies, but surprisingly enough sex and fluff seem to attract more readers. -- A Note on Vocabulary -- My John/Sherlock stories cover a wide range of possible relationships, from friendship to romantic love. I do consider all of them to be 'Johnlock' stories; but as I am aware that this expression is usually used to refer to 'slash' stories only, i.e. containing romantic and/or sexual relationship between men, I just stick to the common acceptation of the word as well. So for clarity my friendship stories will not be listed as Johnlock on any site, regardless of how I personally refer to them in private conversations. I refrain from using the term 'slash' in any way, not because I have a problem with what it refers to, but because I find the word itself and its most likely origin (/) absurd. 'Slash' can be used to refer to any homosexual relationship: this means to any fandom, to any male character. But won't most of us agree that fanfiction is most interesting and enjoyable when characters feel authentic? That is, when they are 'in character'? Don't you think there is something odd then in characterising a story as "slash", as if the most important thing in the story was that it contained a maleXmale relationship? Well, why not, I suppose. But since I think the word is stupid (I mean, "/"? Not even the names of the characters, but "/"? Why not comma while we're at it?), I prefer using the term 'Johnlock'. It makes me feel less silly. Am I really the only one finding the word 'slash' so funny? -- Concerning Credits -- I have been asked why I included Stephen (or Steve) Thompson in my disclaimers. So here is some clarification: the series Sherlock broadcasted on BBC One was created by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. But it was written by three people: Mark Gatiss (The Great Game, The Hound of the Baskerville); Steven Moffat (A Study in Pink, A Scandal in Belgravia); and Stephen Thompson (The Blind Banker, The Reichenbach Fall). So I consider that the latter deserves acknowledgements as well, as far as the scenario is concerned. You will find all of my stories here, although you may also read them on other websites listed below. Some stories are available as e-books and can be downloaded from my LJ account.
