Author has written 15 stories for Fruits Basket, Spirited Away, and Harry Potter. Status as of Tuesday, May 15, 2006: Welcome to my little part of the world, where nothing happens, but you keep reading anyway. See you're still reading. Anyway, there isn't much to say about me. In high school, third year. Female. Canadian. Egotistical and I would like to say outgoing. Yep, that about covers it all. I'm on hiatus. That would explain why I don't update this little space too often. E-mail me if you have any questions, or e-mail me to pester me. I don't really care, as long as you don't get too annoying. School's in full swing, so I don't have a lot of time to sit down and write. Heck, no time to even sit down and think about writing. Fiction and Progress: Hotaru - Another Kyoru fic; the name isn't actually 'Hotaru', but it's based on a scanlated manga I read that was called Hotaru no Mori (I think 'Hotaru's Forest'). Involves summers, monsters and spirits. I've finished writing the prologue, first, second and third chapter. I've posted the prologue, and will probably try to write more before I post more. Other than the one Hotaru story, I think I've lost interest in writing Fruits Basket fanfiction. I'm honestly not up-to-date with the characters and feel no need to update myself on the current goings on. So while I still have dozens of random plots saved on my hard drive, they'll probably remain 'random plots' unless I alter them to fit original fiction. (Fruits Basket) Incomplete because of plot problems Autumn's Farewell by kcarrie - well, considering that just about everyone's heard of this already, it would be stupid to advertise... but go read it anyway. It's all soap drama-y and filled with Kyoru fluff. (Fruits Basket) Incomplete because... well, she's lazy and has lost interest, unforunately Silence by soul release - A beautiful and touching one-shot regarding the relationship of Hermione and Ron. When Ron goes missing, Hermione nearly goes insane missing him... I suggest you read, because it's a wonderful, introverted fic. Check my favourite stories if you can't find it. (Harry Potter) The Ambition of the Silver Ribbon by JoJo4 - Dear goodness. Just when I thought that fanfiction just wasn't worth reading, this fic springs up on me. It's descriptive and well-written, realistic and engaging... blah blah blah (I'm just trying to make myself sound more professional). Seriously, it's one solid fic. It's a Draco x Hermione fic, but it's not overly fluffy... in fact, it's downright dramatic. This fic is a one-shot (unfortunately), but I would seriously suggest you read it. (Harry Potter) Rant Space DeviantArt is still my second home. I have also discovered my passion for crafting. Mind you, I don't have the skills to actually craft (anything... except perhaps scarves), but thinking up crazy ideas for things to do/make occupies a lot of my time. Eventually I'll sit down and make something that I can wear : ) Anyway. A while ago, I went with friends to see the fourth Harry Potter movie. I must say, it successfully blew my mind away. I've always loved Harry Potter (surprisingly, I lack fanfiction in that fanbase), and the movie was, in my opinion, the best of the four. Some might argue that it took a lot away from the book, but my reasoning for why it is awesome in its own right is this: As a movie, the fourth installment is stand-alone-awesome (i.e. don't compare it to the book), as a book, the fourth installment is also stand-alone-awesome. Therefore, you have two complete awesome things, instead of just one. And that is my reasoning for why it is awesome. So ends my pointless rant. | |||||||||
