Hello, and welcome to the joint account of Thomas and Laura; a boyfriend and girlfriend who met over FanFiction Net and have a shared love of story telling. Despite that we have our very own accounts, we both agreed that we should have a shared one so we can write stories together as a couple. We have so many ideas in the pipeline, but we shall be finishing our own current ones before attempting anything new.

In the meantime, here are some personal facts about us;

We both met in August 2010 over a Hellraiser forum on here, and hit it off right away. We had a shared love of certain horror movies, and superhero genres, and even had the same values and beliefs. As with most couples, we both started off as friends, and during the nearly three years we've been as so, a romance developed. :)

There is a ten year age gap between us, and we're long distance, but we never let that bother us. We have so much in common, we get along so well, and that's all that matters.

Our original account pennames are LJ1983 (Laura) and Rurrlock-God of Power (Thomas), if you're interested in checking out our solo stories. :)

In case you're wondering - our penname, Thaura, is our names joined together. :D

Hi there, this is Thomas here with my personal section :)

So yeah, I have my own original account, Rurrlock-God of Power, if you're interested in checking out the stories there. To be honest, I was never that much into writing before I had a Fanfiction account. I was much more into visual story-telling and films, as reading and writing was difficult for me. Then I happened onto this website and started reading some awesome stories here. Eventually, I started to feel inspired to write my own stories. At first, I wasn't sure which genre or fandom to really stick with, so I just started off with a fandom I was really interested in at the time, which was the Nightmare on Elm Street film series. After that, I then thought of all my favourite movies, TV series and games, and thought about many other stories I could write for them, and the rest is history.

I do tend to lean more towards action-packed stories, but I'm all-rounded, I can read any genre as long as the quality of the story is good. So after a while, that started to reflect more with my writing, I was throwing in mixed bags of action, horror, comedy, romance, drama and character development. Now I write for anything story that I want to tell, or has a great theme that I would enjoy telling in my own unique way. I'm not the best writer in the world, however, I've defiantly improved over time and have become much more comfortable with writing. Although film will always remain favourite in my heart, literature writing is a real passion of mine now, as long as I'm a story-teller, that's fine with me.

Hi. This is Laura here, with my personal section. :)

I'm 29 years old, student of Floristry, and a recovering depressive. I was bullied a lot when I was a kid, and it's took me so long to build confidence. I find story writing helps with the pain of my past. I also suffer with Dyspraxia which is a neurological disorder, kind of like Dyslexia. I suffer with concentration problems, get distracted easily, and suffer with physical and mental clumsiness. But I never let it get me down. And despite the odds, in that they say Dyspraxics can't write, I've beaten them by writing so many of my own stories. Though lately, I never get as much time as I used to to write anything, so please be patient.

I have always thoroughly enjoyed writing and being creative with stories from a very early age, even if I'm not all that good at it to my own opinion. But I'm decent. When my sister in law suggested this site to me many years ago, I jumped at the chance to get signed up the minute I browsed the site. :)

I've had my own account - LJ1983 - for nearly four years now, and I've enjoyed every minute. Not only did I have the opportunity to write for films and shows I've always loved, I got to make many friends along the way - and meet with my future boyfriend with whom I share this account. :) The whole idea of this joint account is to combine our talents and write epic stories together. It is also a way for me to write stories I am not all that confident to write on my own. (I'm more of a romance/angsty sort of writer that delves into emotions, whereas Thomas is into more action and adventure scenes.) We have so many ideas (see upcoming story list below) and we're both excited to get to them.

My own take on the 1984 movie, Supergirl. Based on some comic storylines and some cut/unfilmed parts from the movie script as well as my own ideas. War has erupted on the once peaceful Argo City. An old acquaintance of the tyrant warmonger General Zod has stolen the Omegahedron and has left for Earth, with one purpose; to kill the infamous Kal-El - known to humans as Superman - on the Planet Earth and take control of the humans. Only one stands in his way, one brave enough to leave her home and her parents to go search for the Omegahedron and stop the one who has stolen it, and also warn Kal-El before it's too late - his teenage cousin Kara Zor-El, soon to become Supergirl...The Maid Of Might! But, adjusting to life on Earth and mixing with the primitive humans is more challenging than she believes.
