Hello! I don’t really know what to write here that would interest anybody... but I’ll go with the story of my Pen name :)

Once upon a time, a little girl (ME!!) was staying at her grandma’s lake house. The house had this big window that gave a sumptuous view of the lake and the mountains. One afternoon, the little girl was sitting in front of said window as the sun began its descent towards the Earth. And she watched with acute attention (for a five year old) how the different colors created a warm glow of bright pinks, of delicate golden colors and fiery reds in the sky. Her grandma walked in and looked at her granddaughter watching the sunset and she said: “Your eyes are like Crystal; they shine and reflect all of the colours of the world.” And from then on her grandmother, her grandfather, her uncles, her aunts, her cousins, her parents and her brothers (so basically all her family called her Crystal Eyes). Many years later the little girl wasn’t so little anymore and she got her heart broken by a jerk (I know... how cliché ;). To make herself feel better she left school for awhile to go stay at her grandma’s lake house. One afternoon she sat by the big window and watched a big thunder storm outside. Her grandma walked in with a cup of hot chocolate (because yes hot chocolate DOES make everything better, in my world anyways ;) and looked at her granddaughter’s eyes and said: “That jerk head (yes she said that... my grandma is a badass ;) who broke your heart, he’s going to regret it because baby doll your eyes are f*king burning crystal” and yes she swore (and for the record she never does... so I was really shocked, and almost spilled hot chocolate :)

And that’s where Burning Crystal Eyes comes from :)
