Good afternoon! I call myself "Surely Lin" but you can call me just "Lin." I figured there were enough names like mine that I should try to be original.
This is all rather new to me, so you'll have to be patient with me as I learn how to use FF.Net.
I am 20 years old and a student in an associates degree program at the local college. I have enjoyed Japanamation since the age of 13 when all I could get a hold of were satellite broadcasts of Spanish dubbed anime and those poorly subtitled tapes at the local video store aimed for adults rather than younger teens. In fact, my first anime was "There Were 11," a movie I wish I could find on DVD.
I love to draw and because I love anime enough, my goal is to become one. I don't write too much these days, but have been feeling rather inspired to give it a try. ^_^
My current fascination at FF.net is currently the yaoi stories. I started in Gundam Wing and found myself moving into Yami no Matsuei and then Gravitation. However, I do still enjoy straight stories as well. ^_^
Yaoi wise, I think my favorite pairings are Ryuichi and Tatsuha from Gravitation, and Tsuzuki and Hisoka from Yami no Matsuei.
My favorite straight pairing would have to be Kenshin and Kaoru from Rurouni Kenshin, followed by Yamato and Sora from Digimon season 02. ~_^ (Yep, I did watch Digimon briefly while I babysat for my Aunt)
And for a twist, if I were to have a special threesome it would be Lantis, Eagle and Hikaru from Magic Knights Rayearth. (I even have a poster of the three of them asleep in Rayearth's hands that I got at Nekocon V! ^_^)
My favorite female character is Sailor Moon's Makoto (Lita in the US) Kino.
My favorite male character tied between Hisoka Kurosaki from Yami no Matsuei and Ryuichi Sakuma from Gravitation.
Alright... I think I've gotten off my original plan for my biography. Then again, I've noticed a number of anime fanfiction writers put down their favorite pairings and such, so I can't be looking all that weird, neh?
For my first story here at fanfiction.net I am writing a crossover story using Yami no Matsuei's universe and the character "Makoto Kino" from Sailor Moon. It's an unusually crossover, but no worries. Yaoi pairings will not change and I have yet to determine if I want Makoto to get paired up.
