Author has written 2 stories for Glee. Long live Puckurt. The Canon that never was. UPDATE: I'm re-writing NYC: Strut... so bear with the changes! I have begun watching Fox's Glee and I have actually grown to like it (apart from the amateur like production of songs, auto tuned vocals and the blatant sucking up to the celebrities who guest star). I come here to read the fan fiction between Noah Puckerman and Kurt Hummel (Puckurt) because I can't resist shipping them both. Not only are they emotionally and physically attractive characters but they are also easy to pair due to their polar opposite statuses within high school. Fact. I'm not a Klaine shipper because I just think that Blaine is too similar to Kurt in terms of dress, character and attitude. The reason why I love Puckurt so much is because in my opinion Puck is hotter than Blaine and is less similar to Kurt. I'd really rather Kurt not have a bow tie twin as a boyfriend, would you? Puck and Kurt hardly speak to one another on the actual show other than brief one liners which is a disappointment but recently Mark Salling has expressed enthusiasm about the possibility of an episode revolving around the two joining forces which I hope Ryan Murphy acts upon. What's also interesting is that Salling knows of this particular shipping and finds it humorous and interesting having sent some fan made Puckurt videos via Twitter to Chris Colfer saying "Buddy, they're on to us!". I think Colfer's reaction was "It was only a matter of time" or something along those lines. Funny. In an interview with Fink and Criss, Mark admitted that he would give Colfer a "spontaneous, soft yet assertive" kiss if given the chance which only gets me thinking about Salling and his obvious soft spot for Chris. I will never criticize other shippings of any other character on Glee as it only brings others down. E.g. People who claim "Puckurt will never happen so stop writing fanfiction/creating fan art depicting both of them because Puck is straight. Seriously!" need to stop venting their frustrations out on the Internet and others and get themselves a job writing for Talking Out Of Your Ass Magazine. Yes, we obviously know Puckurt will most likely not happen but it doesn't mean we can't hope or stop reading/creating. It's merely our guilty pleasure so stop being a spoil sport and allow us to have our fun. (Plus, it has never been confirmed that Puck is heterosexual, it's just been heavily implied. That and there were plans for him to be closeted. Bet you didn't know that). This also applies to any other shippings homosexual or not like Faberry or Hevans so let's all drop it. My favorite scenarios including Puckurt are when either Noah and Kurt are friends/best friends that eventually leads to romance or when Noah is a wealthy businessman/celebrity and Kurt is an average boy but somehow they enter a romantic relationship together. I'm not a fan of the supernatural or fantasy genres as I believe it takes away from the realism and I'm not here for escapism. I also like the stories I read to not just contain Romance but to have a decent amount of Angst or Drama in it to keep it interesting. Fluff is all very well and good but it gets boring really quickly and reading a couple sailing through a relationship without any hitches in the road or any woes to hold them back is not what I'm looking for. What I do find frustrating though is when authors don't complete their stories. Just when it starts to get good and you're on the edge of your seat, your eyes bearing onto the computer screen not caring one bit that you're staying up all night to read this masterpiece only to have it left abandoned, it annoys me to no end. It is because I understand this frustration from readers that I will always complete my stories no matter what. My first two Puckurt stories and Fan Fiction tales ever have been completed so please check them out down below. I've wanted to put all the knowledge of writing a narrative that I'm really interested in into good use and after several months of reading other stories from many talented authors, I've wanted to unleash my imagination and get my fingers typing. It is a longfic as I only read epics, novels and full length stories and not drabbles, short one shots and ficlets because they just don't satisfy me. When it comes to reading mature Puckurt content I don't like reading Kurt in a dominant role and Puck in a submissive one because it doesn't work and it's a total mood killer and turn off so if you do decide to write that, it'll cost me following/favoriting your story which I dislike doing. Puck is the masculine one and Kurt is the effeminate one. End of. One last thing, just a little about me: I'm a male Gap Year student and I will always try to write something new in any stories I endeavor to write that hasn't been covered before. I'm also indecisive and I get bored easily so don't be surprised if I frequently change my avatar and username, my current one indeed named after the Spanish high energy chocolate drink. | |||||||
