UPDATE: 06/21/12 I am NOT dead, I am NOT giving up on my stories, and I am NOT giving them up for adoption! For the last part about adoption, STOP ASKING! My grandfather died in February and then my grandmother died a month later. Had a difficult time with that and then had to deal with other family issues. So I am a little behind. And not only that I just got another computer after not having one for nearly a year. So yeah, I am waaaaay behind on updates. Sorry. I will work on that when I can. All my stories and out-lines for each chapter was on my previous computer that wanted to crash on me. So yeah, I have to start from scratch, re-read my stories, and remember where I wanted to go with them. My first priority will be Cruel Desires since I remember I only had like 2-3 more chapters left to do on that. Then Enchanted Nights. You might get a one-shot here or there when the mood strikes so try to stick with me. I'm doing what I can, when I can.

These people who risk their lives day in and day out DESERVE RESPECT! They don't deserve the names that you call them behind their backs or even to their faces! They DID NOT have to choose the career that they did to protect innocents and the not so innocents! They DID NOT have to choose to risk THEIR OWN FUCKING LIVES to protect the undeserving and the selfish pricks who make what they do seem wrong. They DID NOT have to choose to see all the bad things in the world that would make a grown man throw-up and wish they had never seen what they just did! They DID NOT have to choose to be the bearer of bad news to those parents, friends, or what have you that their daughter, son, sister, brother, mother, father, cousin, friend, or whatever was murdered, raped, beaten, tortured, or anything else! They DID NOT have to choose to take a bullet so that an innocent bystander could go home to see their loved ones! They DID NOT have to choose to be a police officer, a soldier, a firefighter, a volunteer firefighter, a social worker, or even a bodyguard so that they could protect the ones in the world from murderers, rapists, pedophiles, gangs, mobs, hate crimes, or anything else that is wrong in this fucked up world! STOP BAD MOUTHING THEM! STOP making their jobs difficult by loitering where you know you aren't supposed to. If they ask you to leave the area, instead of back talking and making a scene, leave. Those useless minutes that you stand there making their jobs difficult could be minutes that they could be somewhere else stopping a murder from happening, or a rape, a kidnapping, a gang fight, a shoot out, a robbery, ANYTHING! other than you leaving an area you WEREN'T supposed to be in, in the FIRST PLACE!

It is a COMPLIMENT YOU DUMB ASSES to call a police officer a PIG! So STOP trying to use it as an insult! And another FYI! Pigs are INTELLIGENT creatures! There once was a pony who lived in a shoe. One day a puppet came knocking on his door. The poor lonely pony answered right away. 'Yes my dear puppet? What is it that I could do for you?'

The puppet held out an empty cup and asked in it's sickeningly sweet voice, 'May I have a cup of sugar?'

The lonely pony was confused as to why a puppet would need sugar for they had no stomachs to fill. 'And why my dear puppet would you need a cup of sugar?'

The puppet looked here and there before leaning in to whisper, 'I am in need of sugar so that I can catch me a leprechaun so that I may become a real person.'

The pony took on a sly grin. 'Why my dear puppet! How silly of you! You cannot catch a leprechaun with sugar!' The pony cried out.

The puppet looked at the pony with deep sadness in his fake wooden eyes. 'Then how am I to capture a leprechaun?' The puppet cried out in despair.

'Fear not my wooden friend. Come back in three days and I will give you what you need to catch those tricksters!' The pony exclaimed. Happy that he would help, the puppet went on his merry way.

Three days later, the puppet happily knocked on the lonely poney's door. When the poney answered it, the puppet held out it's hand and snootily demanded, 'Now give me what I need to get me a leprechaun!'

The pony smiled and moved to the side. 'Please come in. It is inside and almost finished.'

The puppet went in, unknowing of it's fate. When he walked all the way into the pony's shoe like home, horror crossed it's face as dread made it's way to the pit of his stomach. All along the walls were puppet's bodies hanging up like trophies won or like game that has been killed and should be proud of. He heard a click of the door and a faint latching of a bolt. Turning slowly, the puppet met the pony's evil red eyes. 'Why?' was all he could ask.

The pony chuckled. 'My dear sweet clueless puppet. Don't you know? Never trust a stranger.' And with that the pony turned into a leprechaun and snatched up the puppet. As the soul was sucked out, the puppet knew that if things could have went different...he would have been happy with the way he was. The leprechaun put the lifeless doll on his wall along with his collection. 'Stupid puppet. We leprechauns have always been tricksters!'

01-29-2010 UPDATE!! IMPORTANT!!

"A COP ON THE TAKE"

First he takes ... the oath.
Now look at what else he takes:

He takes... it in stride when people call him pig.
He takes... his lousy pay check realizing he'll never be rich.
He takes... a second job sometimes to make ends meet and support his family.
He takes... time to stop and talk to children.
He takes... your verbal abuse while giving you a ticket you really deserved.
He takes... on creeps you would be afraid to even look at.
He takes... time away from his family to keep you safe.
He takes... your injured child to the hospital.
He takes... the graveyard shift without complaint because it's his turn.
He takes... his life into his hands daily.
He takes... you home when your car breaks down.
He takes... time to explain why both your headlights have to work.
He takes... the job no one else wants--telling you a loved one has died.
He takes ... criminals to jail.
He takes... in sights that would make you cry. Sometimes he cries too, but he takes it anyway because someone has to.
He takes... memories to bed each night that you couldn't bear for even one day.
He takes... time to explain to his family why he can't make the ball game his child is in and why he has to work on the holiday when other parents are off.
Sometimes, he takes a bullet.
And yes, occasionally he may take a free cup of coffee.
If he is lucky, he takes retirement.
Then one day he pays for all he has taken, and God takes him.

People don't realize all that a cop does...sometimes even his own family doesn't. We take life forgranted and the people around us forgranted. But the person who we take the most forgranted are the cops, the soldiers that are here to protect us from daily crime...So today...tell the cop that pulls you over or the cop that you pass by on the street or in a store that you appreciate what they do for us and to keep up the great work. They make look at you strange but you just told them something that no one usually ever tells them or acknowledges. I know I will tell my dad...because I may never get to tell him that, for every time he leave for work he could very well die in the line of duty.
