Hullo Everyone,

For those interested 'Aileil' means 'elven' in Gaelic. For those who are not interested, that doesn't change the meaning. I am much more of a reader and a supply of moral support than a writer. I am somewhat lacking in the discipline department and, as such, will make up stories and then fail to write them down. If one doesn't nag, one will be left at loose ends.

I am currently a Sophomore (Greek for 'wise fool') in High School. The best subject at the moment would be a close match between Biology and Chemistry. I am in the IB program and it constantly seems as if the rest of the world is more intelligent than myself. The school librarian is my second-cousin once removed which makes the half-hour wait for Speech practice far more entertaining.

I generally switch obsessions every month. Last month it was "An Englishman Who Went up a Hill and Came Down a Mountain". This month it is anything written by Tolkein (my favorite author since I was seven, not subject to change). My favorite book of all time is a tie between "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings". I read "The Lord of the Rings" first a month before my seventh birthday at the behest of my elder brother, he hasn't ceased regretting it since. I have read "The Hobbit" sixteen times, "The Lord of the Rings" thirty-seven times. My mother has forbidden me from reading either again until summer holidays.

I suppose that's more than you lot need to know, sorry 'bout that. Ta ta!

With All Sincerity,

Aileil

1. A World Worth Living For
Just a brief drabble in honor of a brilliant character. What makes that loony bin worth it after all?
Takin’ Over the Asylum - Rated: K - English - Friendship - Chapters: 1 - Words: 205 - Published: 6-16-13 - Complete
2. Though Hearts are Broken, They May be Whole Again
This is how I wanted "Ladies in Red" to end. I will not apologize to any Jane-Lisbon fans because I don't like the pairing, but I will warn you that this is not one of those. It is nice an mushy though for all the romance fans I know are out there. I'm writing this partially out of "If-You-Can't-Beat-'Em-Join-'Em" Syndrome.
Mentalist - Rated: K - English - Romance - Chapters: 1 - Words: 932 - Published: 3-18-13 - Complete
3. Out of Hate Love reviews
Lars and Rhen come from opposing backgrounds. They have no common ground. And they despise each other, or at least they did...
Aveyond - Rated: K - English - Romance - Chapters: 1 - Words: 1,079 - Reviews: 2 - Published: 2-8-13 - Lars T. & Rhen P. - Complete
4. Hatter in Overland reviews
Since the movie shouldn't have ended with Alice on a slow boat to China, I decided to write this slightly AU epilogue.
Alice in Wonderland, 2010 - Rated: K - English - Romance - Chapters: 1 - Words: 3,999 - Reviews: 4 - Published: 1-28-13 - Mad Hatter/Tarrant Hightopp & Alice K. - Complete
5. Merry Little Happenings » reviews
This is a series of one-shots dealing with the little everyday happenings that were not mentioned in the book or depicted in the movie to speak of. Really, one does wonder what happened while they sat around a fire, rode their ponies, or stood watch...
Hobbit - Rated: K - English - Humor/Friendship - Chapters: 4 - Words: 3,111 - Reviews: 19 - Updated: 1-2-13 - Published: 12-29-12
6. Darn it Murphy Might be Right After All » reviews
Well, I have decided to give this another go. So: this story shows how life on Atlantis so aptly illustrates Murphy's Law. As well as several off shoots thereof.
Stargate: Atlantis - Rated: T - English - Drama - Chapters: 11 - Words: 12,834 - Reviews: 22 - Updated: 1-2-13 - Published: 7-4-12 - Rodney M.
