Author has written 6 stories for Silmarillion, Moonlight, Twilight, and Host. 6 Years On Fanfiction.net!! Woohoo!! Updated May 6th, 2009 Hello There, My name is Jackie and I have been on this site since I was 18 years old. I at first was totally obsessed with Lord of the Rings. And yes...before you guess...prepare to make fun of me. I was totally into Legolas. In fact, I had a huge crush on Orlando Bloom in general. Nothing to bad to say about the poor guy, but I realize now...he's so not my type!! I wrote a rather long and...well, terribly written story based in LOTR called Blessed Blue Child. I have taken it down. I'm really not sure if I will ever put it back up (of course edited correctly and such) but in some strange way I'm rather proud of it. I mean, sure it was pure drabble in most chapters, but there were some parts of the story where I felt like I found my pace and voice in writing. And I also found out how fun writing angst is. Yes, I'm totally masochist. At the time of writing Blessed Blue Child I went though finding out my best friend and beloved Mema had lung and brain cancer, worked 3 part time jobs without a car no less (yeah, you get really super cool with begging & scheduling), and taking care of Mema whenever I could. I can remember thinking about my story as an escape, and I would focus on what I would write whenever I got home from work. I would usually spend my evenings with Mema and then stay up late at night to write. It was my therapy and my way to survive the terrible situation I was in. The day Mema died, I wrote. The day of her funeral, I wrote. If I didn't have this horribly written story to focus on...I would have cracked. I miss her everyday, and still cannot believe she is gone. I completed the story Blessed Blue Child and started on the sequel Time and Temptation. I fully intended on completing this story as well. But then life said...You don't need to. Over a year after Mema died, I decided it was best if I lived with my brother instead of my Mom. For the first time I was living for me, doing things for my life. I learned to drive, got a bank account for the first time, got my first real full time job, had my first real boyfriend, and started saving like mad to move out on my own. My now husband Robert was my rock and my best friend. I don't know if I could have made it through so many things in my life like Mema's death, moving out, getting a real full time job, moving into my own place, etc.) He was there all the way, all the time. He is the love of my life and I know now...he's my type. Not some elf in tights. LOL!! Well Robert and I got married July 15, 2006. We have had some curve balls thrown at us with my health but we have stayed strong and we grow in love everyday. Recently, I was diagnosed with arthritis and fibromyalgia. This can be very debilitating at times and typing up stories can be VERY painful. I can't seem to stop myself though...so oh well. I came back to writing fan fiction I think about a year ago. I had kept reading fan fiction, but I didn't feel like I had anything to write. Then I saw the TV show Moonlight. HOLY MOLY!! Love at first sight and my mind was racing with ideas. I started my story Bloodline then. I get messages often asking me to continue this story. I really want to. I've been seriously thinking about it. I'm working on it. I will leave it at that. I won't promise a schedule...I can't schedule my own life!! To promise one for this story would be wrong. I will get to when I can. Then...Twilight happened. Yes...Twilight. Stop rolling your eyes. I LOVE TWILIGHT!! I tried to avoid it. I saw it in the bookstores. Heard about it papers. I didn't want to fall in love with vampires again dammit!! But lo and behold, I was bit and I never looked back. I was and still kinda am OBSESSED with Twilight. Writing stories for it have been a breeze. I started with my experimental piece called Gloves. To be honest, I can't remember where I got this idea from. It was my first time using a different writing style. I feel like it was terribly over dramatic. I took this story down because I want this story to succeed and in order for that to happen...I really need to work on it. Let's be honest, I'm here to learn how to write and to be in practice with it. I'm working on editing and re-vamping Gloves completely. I'm still keeping the cover though Nostalgicmiss!! (Love Ya Girl!!) And then came my most succeesful story to date: Love Scenes. I had no intention of this to have about 50,000 hits to this point. I really don't even comprehend that amount. I didn't expect the reaction to be as quick and as strong as it was and still is. It always astounds me. The chapter Wild is the Wind received 43 reviews!! WOW!! I love writing this story, but I have always done it on the fly to be honest. I knew what feelings I wanted to display to show why Bella and Edward reacted and acted in certain ways in Breaking Dawn, but I have never really sat down and mapped out this story. Its too much fun for me to think like that. Does that make sense? So that means...I don't have a schedule!! I know..I'm sorry. The only thing I could say is that whenever I write a chapter for this story I NEVER hang on to it. So you might get 2-3 updates a week. At the same time, you might not hear from me for a month. I'm working on being better about this. I started He was Here as a one-shot, but I think I want to expand on it. I have started writing a few chapters in Edward's perspective and I do have many ideas of what might have happened in Eclipse behind the scenes. I am working on this, but its really not priority at the point. Honestly, I really have no idea how I keep track of all these ideas anyway. I read The Host in January on the vacation from HELL. Nothing like being sick while camping at Disney. Mickey Loves You!! Well The Host totally saved me from ripping my sinus caviaty out of my face. When I returned from vacation I started writing A Season for Everthing when I saw how small The Host fan fiction section was. I was so sad. SO...I thought "Hey, I'll try that!" I once again got a pretty amazing response pretty immediately. I do plan on continuing this story. I LOVE writing it. Really I do. So I'm working on that as well. Gosh...How do I get myself into these situations!! Now finally, I am working on a new story that is AH/AU for Twilight. I am about 5 chapters into it and I don't want to start posting until I have about 10. For the first time I will abide by a schedule. I really want to and I think its nice to get that from a story. So, I will probably post that pretty soon. I'm really surprised how fast I am putting it together, and yes this is a mapped out story. This is also going to be really angsty though...so don't be expecting Love Scenes AH/AU!! I want to thank you all so much for reading my stuff. It really just honors me that you take the time. I want to thank a few authors you have totally rocked my socks and actually talk to me. Please check out their work, they are beyond amazing and so much better than me!!
