Driven to Desire – A Twilight Anonymous UST Challenge

UST or Unresolved Sexual tension – a social phenomenon that occurs when two people interact and one or both feel sexual desire, but the consummation is postponed or never happens.

So many obstacles can stand in the way of two people coming together (figuratively and literally) – maybe they are co-workers, best friends, from rival families, even teacher and student! – That’s what the judges want to read.

We challenge you to make us squirm, beg for relief, toss our computers out the window in frustration – build up the tension till we can’t take any more.

CONTEST RULES

- All submissions must be ANONYMOUS. Please do not post or continue your story anywhere until after the winners have been announced.

- You may promote the contest and say that you entered, but if you in any way reveal which story is yours you will be immediately disqualified. Additionally, once your entry is posted, please do not reply to reviews for your story until the contest is over and winners are announced.

- All entries must be original, and new for this contest. Participants are more than welcome to continue the story after the contest concludes.

- All entries must fit within the theme of the contest

- Collaborations are welcome.

- Limit of three per person/collaboration.

- Participants must be 17 or older.

- Minimum of 3,000 words and maximum of 14,000 words, not counting the header and a/n.

- All POV’s welcome.

- All genre’s welcome as long as the story meets the requirements of the theme.

- All o/s must be BETA’d. We will be validating all entries for grammar, spelling, etc. If there are a large number of errors then your entry will be sent back to you so that you may edit and revise before resubmitting.

- All pairings are welcome.

- AH/AU/Canon/Non-Canon/Slash

- Any entries containing scenes of rape, incest, abuse, bestiality, or pedophilia will be rejected and the author will be disqualified from the contest.

- Ending with an actual lemon is optional as long as you portray the sexual tension before we get our release. Make us sweat a little…
