Hi there, and welcome to my profile :D
Since I joined this site in '03 I've been under the name 'The Bell and the Black Dragon,' but since it's 2009 now, I recently changed it :).
I've been on this site for many years and I write whenever a plot hits me, but mostly I just enjoy reading rather than writing, since I'm much better at that! :P. I've recently discovered that LJ has great communities to find extremely wonderfully written fics, but I do tend to bumble about on here every so often scoping out the really great stories :).

Things I enjoy:
Driving behind people and seeing that they have Obama bumper stickers, being an avid Peanut Butter lover, reading insane amounts of slash, balancing this with waitressing part time and college-ing full time, drinking lots of tea, being nerdfighterly and decreasing worldsuck, missing dentist appointments, reading even more insane amounts of slash (I swear, I used to not be so insane! :D), and then repeating!

My favorite pairings: (most of them I read, some I just love the idea of).

House, M.D. - House/Wilson FTW!!
Supernatural- Castiel/Dean, mostly Sam/Dean. Oh yes, I Wincest :>. Only REALLY well written!
Smallville - Lex/Clark always, but I wouldn't mind Chloe/Clark or Lois/Clark on the show.
Jumper - David/Griffin :D
Queer As Folk - Michael/Brian :)
Hollyoaks - John Paul/Craig (YAY, Sunset Ending!!), Kris/Elliot :).
Harry Potter - Snape/Lupin, Harry/Draco, and well-written, older Harry with Snape is my favorite.
Dexter - Dexter/Brian ;x
Buffy and/or Angel - Angel/Spike, Fred/Wesley (OMG, het?!) and I don't mind Spike/Drusilla on the show.
Van Helsing - Dracula/Van Helsing.
Phantom of the Opera - Eric/Raoul
Heroes - Mohinder/Sylar (though its not been canon lately) Sylar/Luke, HRG/Claude (Angst and betrayal a good fic can make!)
My Own Private Idaho - Mikey/Scott
Pirates of the Caribbean - Norrington/Jack
Law and Order SVU - Elliot/Olivia
Doctor Who - the Master/the Doctor is immortal love :). On the show I wouldn't mind Nine/Rose, and I'd love Ten/Donna :).
Torchwood - I quite liked Owen/Toshiko, and wouldn't have minded Owen/Ianto. And Its Captain Jack Harkness and Captain John Hart all the way, baby! :D.

And yes, I know some of these are quite twisted, but only in the way where it makes perfect sense if you're willing to be slightly insane! :D

Least favorite pairings: (as in, I would not touch these with a ten foot pole).

House, M.D. - House/Anyone not Wilson, but especially House/Cameron. BLECK!
Harry Potter - Harry/Ginny, Draco/Hermione, Draco/Ginny.
Pirates of the Caribbean - Jack/Elizabeth. Blargh!
Supernatural - Sam/Ruby. Eww. Majorly. And Dean/Jo bugs me too.
Smallville - Clark/Lana has been murdering me with misery for whole seasons!!
Heroes - Peter/Elle, Elle/Mohinder, Peter/Claire...
Jumper - Millie/David.
Dexter - Dexter/Lilah.
Hollyoaks - Sarah/Craig, JP/Kieron.
Queer As Folk - Brian/Justin.
Buffy and/or Angel - Angel/Buffy, Angel/Nina. Bleck.
Doctor Who - Ick Martha/Doctor (though I love Martha otherwise)! And for some reason Jack/Doctor squicks me a bit.
Torchwood - Gwen/Jack. BLAH!
