I'm 34, live in the Southern States of USA, and love 'Lord of the Rings', 'Star Trek', 'Star Wars', 'Highlander', and 'Power Rangers'. (You know, now that I think of it, that's a rather ODD combination, isn't it?)

I read 'Lord of the Rings' in High School. No, it wasn't out of curiousity, it was for extra credit. I kinda liked them, but they was just a little deep for me at 16.

Believe it or not, I didn't see the first movie in the theaters, because I didn't think it would be good. (Ducks flying projectiles aimed at head.) I can't remember just what made me buy the extended version of 'Fellowship of the Ring', but I watched it. And found myself in the movie theater watching 'The Two Towers' less than two days later. Man, what a rush!

At first I was captivated by Legolas. (Does this surprise anyone?) Then I began to appreciate Aragorn. (Viggo, I saw you in a movie that made me dance a jig, you looked so good!) Then I finally noticed Haldir. (With that black velvet voice and arrogant stare, how could I not?) Now I've realized I love them all for the way they portray these vital characters. (Still love Leggie for his looks, though. Please forgive me!)
