About me:

I am an inconsistent writer. I have improved, certainly, but none of the new and improved stuff is posted here on FF.net. Mostly, this is due to me learning that my knack is not for fanfiction; rather it is for prose and research. As you'll see from my older posts here, I had a habit of posting before final editing XD. chuckles Someday I will find time and go back and edit like a mad little kitty boy. But apparently, today, is not that day ;)

I am a teacher's assistant and a Resident Assistant (until I move in June2009). non-binary gender theory is my favorite subject. I am also very fond of sociology and have taken a few psychology classes as well. I study human social patterns and systems of inequality.

As a side note, I feel that many Utena fans miss a key point. Anshii did not need Utena to be the prince. She needed an end to rigid gender roles. She needed, they all needed, the roles of prince and princess to disolve. I felt that a main undertone focused on characters who had been relagated to the form of gendered objects, straw-filled robots with expectations and roles given, imposed, or simply by themselves, taking the paths of least resistance...
