I'm in college now! #shudder# Isn't that a scary thought? I'm a freshman at Florida State University and doubling in Biology (Marine) and Psychology. Incidentially though, I am not currently IN Florida. I'm actually at one of their other campuses. In Panama. As in the other country, Panama. I look out my class window and see the Bridge of the Americas and get to watch the ships on the canal. Is it cool? Oh yeah.
I'm 19 and from the South. L.A. to be exact. (As a matter of clarification, L.A. means Lower Alabama around here)
I love country music. The sadder the song and more depressing the ending, the better. It just makes me feel all warm and happy inside. Weird... Right now, I'm really into Big and Rich, which is odd, because they aren't exactly what you would consider "conventional" country. My all time favorite though is Randy Travis.
I love Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, anything with my buddy Antonio Banderas in it, Super Sentai, Power Rangers... Yes, I did say Power Rangers. There are just soooo many good looking guys... I'm also big into musicals, which is a surprise. I love to read, though it's mostly Star Wars and Clive Cussler, with a little Michael Chrichton thrown in for fun. Video games are another hobby. Legend of Zelda is my all time favorite, though lately, I've been on a Resident Evil 4 kick.
As far as favorite pairings go, I love the canon pairings. Yeah, a little weird. What? A fan of canon? And you're a SLASHER? So sue me (please don't, poor college student here). It's not my fault if only a few people actually get paired up and the others... are left to the imagination. And with Disney running Power Rangers now... Everything is left to the imagination.
And torture... Torture is good. I suffered through band camp every summer during high school and I guess that inspires me to torture poor, hapless characters. Poor them. Their lives would probably a lot better if it wasn't for that...
And in case I forget, unfortunately none of the characters I write about belong to me. Things would be a bit alarming if I had that kind of power.
