My name is Amanda, and I'm 27-years-old. I love to write (obviously), but it often pisses me off. Apparently, words sound good when they're floating around in my head, but once they are placed onto the computer screen in front of me, I ask myself, what the hell was I thinking! Really, it's amazing I am ever able to update my current fic - and even MORE amazing that I was able to finish the fic before it.

My dream has always been to become an author. I hope to one day get published.

So I have uploaded the first chapter of my sequel to "Love's Potion". Hopefully, in addition to that, I can manage to keep writing "A World Apart" AND the original story I am writing, which I am hoping to someday soon start uploading on FictionPress.com. Perhaps I am biting off more than I can chew...

Currently, I am in the middle of writing "A World Apart", and it's really taking a lot out of me. I apologize for my sometimes ridiculously long breaks between uploading chapters. I see this as becoming a really long story, but also a difficult one for me to write. You see, I'm used to writing FLUFF - stories with no real substance...stories that are lighthearted and fun. And unfortunately, I chose to take a different route with this one. So please bear with me as I attempt to finish this story ( because if I don't finish it, my boyfriend will bug me until I do, hehe), because even though it's hard for me to write, I think I kind of like it.

Also, I've come up with a possible plot for a sequel to my other (completed) story, "Love's Potion", and would love to know if anyone would be interested in reading it if I was to write it, or if maybe I should just leave "Love's Potion" as a stand-alone and perhaps try and write something completely new. I would be very interested in hearing everyone's opinion on this. :)
