So I was going through the Pokemon section recently, and I want to know what the fuck is up with the names of all these shippings. I mean..."Forbidden Ability" ship? Granted, I assume that one refers to AshuraxValdera in yet another author's take on/homage to Acey's ELEMENTAL MASTER. But "Fortune" ship? "OldRival" ship? "Twinleaf"? "Futaba"? ...The fuck is this nonsense? At least in Negima and Love Hina it's simple. Love Hina uses initials for shippings (KxN, etc.) Negima uses clever joinings of names, like KonoSetsu. But this Pokemon shit makes no sense whatsoever. D=

I hate it when people put that stupid copy-paste shit into their profile (i'm looking at YOU alphaprincess0803). Alright, I'm cleaning house on my account. The idea for Stardust came about when I started watching the Pokemon anime recently, and Mars just HAPPENED to be in the first episode of this D/P series that I saw. Since I had been working on the Kuro wiki page for Chao at the time, my first impression of Mars was "You fail at Mars." And then, just like Tessa in FMP, the damn bitch snuck in and infiltrated the space reserved for female characters of romantic interest. So I got the idea to finally do the long-pondered Project: Dark Wars, which is my take on Acey's ELEMENTAL MASTER with a militaristic Republic of Seafoam and a ton of OCs added. I balked at starting Project: Dark Wars because I imagine that I'd get a few people who would be interested in it, and I know already that I'd not be able to dedicate the time and energy to Project: Dark Wars that any fans I gained would deserve. So I'm trying to appease my muses with this one-shot. But I'm debating on whether to write it at all because my pen name is the same name I used for my character, and I don't feel like getting fifteen bitchy reviews accusing me of self-insert for every one half-decent review.

The name of Stardust is my attempt to make a witty rejoinder alluding to both Mars' name and the field of demolitions expert. If anyone has any better suggestions, and I can be convinced to write this one-shot, then by all means suggest them.

Set from the perspective of the mages of Mahora, Project: Thunder will offer a little greater insight into the helmets of Yuuna's squad and fleshed-out action sequences that I will do my best to ensure stay faithful to the original telling.
