Hello everyone! Thank you for visting my profile :D I'm Ashlyn Malfoy. Here are some random facts about me:

1. Ashlyn isn't my real name but I always use it as my pen name because it means 'dream'.

2. I'm between the ages of 11 and 17 so I'm a younger writer than most.

3. I love reading Harry Potter :) To me, J. K. Rowling is a fantastic writer and possibly the best one ever. She's my role model and I hope to publish a novel like her someday too. My Pottermore account is HeartPatronus1336. Feel free to add me but please PM me who you are :)

4. I love feedback. I welcome any kinds of reviews, good or bad. I strive to improve my stories to the best of my ability. I love receiving critique, so go ahead and critique my stories :) I welcome harsh reviews.

6. I'm usually cheerful and friendly most of the time so feel free to drop a PM to me just to chat :)

7. I'm Asian and proud of it :)

8. I live in Asia and am not completely proud of it (pollution, no access to Facebook/Twitter/Youtube, etc.)

10. I can become very harsh when critiquing (though it rarely happens). I try and do my best to improve your stories. I'm not going to sugarcoat anything, because I say what I need to say. I don't need to cover it up and beat around the bush. My critique is straight to the point and I strive to be as polite as possible. I'm not going to say "Oh, darling, it's really not that bad... actually, it's quite good! No, it's fantastic!" No. That's not my critiquing style.

However, if you didn't like my critique, fine. Drop me a PM saying that you don't want me to continue, and I won't. I respect your choices completely.

11. I'm also a Beta Reader :) Feel free to ask me to help Beta your stories. I will gladly do so, though when faced with an unfamiliar fandom, I can only correct grammatical errors.

Everyone keeps saying that they don't want Harry Potter to end. But the thing itself will never end, as long as we all remember and pass down the legend that is Harry Potter. What's ending is the waiting in line for books, or packed midnight showings of the movies. There will be no more count downs, and no more going to the movies theater 5 times to see the movie, even though you memorized it all the 1st time. No more premieres and nothing new to talk about. But we will all celebrate May 2nd, in memory of those who died, and celebrate Wizarding Independence. We will celebrate our favorite character's birthday. We will go to the WWoHP and celebrate Harry Potter in general. And watch the movies over again until we die, and then we will take our love for everything J.K Rowling created with us in our hearts.
