Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter, Titanic, and Batman Begins/Dark Knight. Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia. I'm coffeemione, formerly known as Akalei -- but the name's really Paige -- and I've been MIA from ff.net for several years. Just as a warning, the stories on this page that haven't been updated since 2005 or before will never be finished or touched at all ever again; for some reason, I just can't bring myself to delete them, as awful as they are, because I feel like they're physical evidence showing how I've grown as a writer. I'm an extremely obsessive-compulsive person. Infatuation comes naturally for me, and my life often tends to revolve around television and movies. I'm also a hopeless idealist and dreamer, as well as a self-proclaimed sappy romantic, for which I feel I can justly blame Disney. And then on my off days -- which seem to occur quite often -- I find myself rather pessimistic and moody. I try to keep these personality quirks from seeping into my writing .. but I like to think of them as enhancers, not hindrances. So my main fandoms have always been Harry Potter and 24 (and, er, Titanic apparently, or at least five years ago, according to a certain unfinished and completely plagiarized fic) -- but I've recently acquired an absolute soul-consuming love for Batman, specifically Nolanverse (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight). So that's where I will be focusing all my attention for now. And in conjuction with that love, I frequently obsess over all things Heath Ledger and Christian Bale. But I love writing -- I've been doing it since kindergarten, some original, mainly fan fiction, and I even enjoy doing English essays and History blue books for school. I have a knack for nestling into the minds of most characters, or I like to think I do, which in a way leads to my life goal of majoring in Psychology (and possibly going on to be a criminal psychologist, because the crazies need help, too). And reviews are very welcome, of course, because I'm highly critical of myself and never feel like my writing is good enough. CURRENTLY: The only story-in-progress I'm working on right now is Wise Up. I have no plans of doing anything else right now, and everything else here can be thought of as, ah, retired. :) | |||||||
